That was a coup.
-
Agree.
-
I am sure your source is correct, as why would you risk him travelling to Perth, first game back.
-
Yes Woody Allen.

It's hard to find good help.

How is the crushed banana remedy going on the tinea?

Then we play Swans off a short 6 day break after Perth. Terrible fixturing. 3 games in a row where are disadvantaged. Good that we have a fairly young side. Guys like Lewis, Vince, Pedo and Jones will feel it.
-
Given they said it would be a miracle for him to get up this week, he may not be a certainty next week. We can only hope.
-
Correct. You can actually uplift rookies if that is what you want to do, But 3 changes is the required minimum.
-
Agree he is a nice guy. Spoke to him at the recent Malvern open day and he was excited to be over his injury and then this. Hope we keep him on the list and I would be pretty confident we would and wish him all the best in recovery and for next season.

Thanks, missed that one.

I heard that Tim Smith has done his navicular. Hope it's not true. Has anybody got any info?

Well it shows how people see things differently. I thought Tyson's disposal was mostly terrible and he has been poor in that area for a while. He has turned the ball over more than most in our side and it worries me.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
Redleg replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
Very happy if he spoils like the knock on to Oscar, which went to Harmes which went to Watts which went over the goal umpire's head and continues playing as he has so far for us. Great pick up. -
You mean the one last year in Tassie where they got 6-7 goals from frees and we couldn't buy a free.
-
Wonder how the Pies fans they would have rated the 15-0 free kick count against us in favour of the Eagles, at half time in Perth a couple of years back, or the 14-1 at half time against the Dogs a few years back or other similar stats we have been on the bad end of over the last few years. If it happened to them they would be marching in the streets.

Great man. Great speech. Good post.

Wonderful Chook, just wonderful.
-
You now the simplest thing to do, is for us all to get behind him and give him support and hopefully he develops into a very good player for the Dees.

Interesting two statements. The first you have him at 90% of his output excellent and 10% of his output atrocious. When I contrast that with Tyson, who I would put at 30-40% atrocious, Melksham at 50% atrocious, ANB at 30% atrocious and his brother Tom, at 20% atrocious, he stacks up ok. As you say given his youth and inexperience 90% excellent is a good grade and perhaps you have been a little generous. I would have thought you could easily find 10% of Viney's output atrocious on a subjective analysis so it is an interesting point. As to the second statement, read my answer above and you will see that it doesn't just follow that with experience and confidence, you eliminate the atrocious part of your game.
-
Not correct. He just wanted some more money and we pushed him out.
-
I think Nick Dal is ok. Pretty honest and insightful comments.

One thing we have to do is win the first quarter well. We have had to come from behind in most games and failed to do so in a few of them. Getting behind today with the Pies crowd urging them on and then possible rain, will be a hard ask. Would love to see a huge Dees win, where we can relax watching and build more percentage. Can't recall the last time I saw that live.

Got to be happy now that we have Taylor heading up the recruiting. He is a nice bloke, who really seems to know his stuff, but without the arrogance. He will make mistakes as it is impossible not to and it is a given in AFL football, that not every draftee will make the grade. There is simply not enough room for them to anyway. The main thing is to get most of the picks right and give yourself the maximum chance of bringing in talent that might make it.

If you go to the ancient tibetan book of fruit cures for man's ailments, you will find it there.
