Good to see the thread living up to its high standards while I am away. Saw the Lions game on AFL on phone in Vancouver and now in Astoria Oregon and will rely on Demonland for updates of Port game, as we are on a ship bound for San Francisco and will be at sea during the game. Clint, Billy has the footy smarts, trust me. He might not have the grunt of Oliver, but few youngsters do.

Don't blame the kid, the umpires were told to not pay the duck and they continually do. Blame the umpiring department for not fixing it. It is a blight on the game that rewards stagers, actors and cheaters.

Sorry boys but a footy comment. With Jetta out, ANB is a certainty and Salem goes back to HBF. Kent if fit plays and one more out maybe Michie. If Dunn comes back you would think Garland out.

I am a proud man, having started the greatest thread ever on Demonland. Over 20000 posts across 800 pages and over 360000 views. We are on our way to 1000 pages and 500000 views and 30000 posts and not one fight the whole time. Hopefully other threads will aspire to the high standards we have attained throughout. Lastly, for those who think we don't mention enough football, I say "sherrin and faulkner".

There was a post where someone said that they knew a recruiter from another club, who thought ANB could be one of the steals of his year. As with Hunt, Harmes, etc, some players need a bit of time to get the body right, the attitude right, the confidence in place before they can produce their best. I think Stretch and ANB could become very good players for us.

Just outside the 8 after 7 rounds. Win the Bombers and Roos games and we are near the top of the ladder. We need to find some consistency in performance, for the rest of the year.

No, the regulars here are not lovers of the meaningless stat. They just enjoy the highbrow discussion, on an intellectual level, not attained on other threads, where the posters just attack each other for their views. The respect and admiration shown to other posters on this thread, should be seen as the hallmark of Demonland, which we all know it is. Those that criticise this thread, can go back to their name calling and fighting on the other threads, where it is rife.

GC clearly not at their strongest, though we aren't either. We need to win this game, if we are going to gain some momentum.

Don't think we should worry about those players that have left us, we have enough to worry about with those that have stayed.
