CASEY: Rd 13 vs Werribee
Hopefully we keep him on and make him into at worst, another good depth player. TBH we only have 3 real rucks on the list and 2 of them are quite young.

CASEY: Rd 13 vs Werribee
Didn't see the first 3/4 but commentators saying Bradtke beat Buzza a former AFL player. Bradtke playing in defence last few weeks.

Football commentary does my head in
Too much wine.

Football commentary does my head in
Similar builds, long hair, long sleeves and a 5 in the number, make it understandable to some degree. Then again it is their damn job to know better.

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Port Adelaide
And charged and locked up too I hope.

BB made a difference
Agree. Funny how we are all praising the game of a key forward who didnโt score.

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Port Adelaide
Really hoping Blues and Saints can pull off big upsets this weekend.

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Port Adelaide
A very good win, with several playing below their best, like Langdon, Spargo, Harmes and Fritta for example. Once again, where are the DL experts who wanted Tom Mac, JJ, Hunt, Spargo and Petty gone last year. Then again the FD wanted Tom Mac gone too. What a wonderful rejuvenation of his footy career we have seen. Credit to you Tom, you are now one of the first picked.

So now they can give them the dodgy ones in front of goal.

GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs Port Adelaide
They are dropping the ball continually and then we are getting pinged for hold the man. Agree disgraceful. You can throw the ball if you are the home Adelaide team, but heaven help you if you handball quickly itโs a throw if you are the away team. Boys playing well atm, hopefully can go another half against 25.

Umpire Margetts is a bit of a bad-luck charm for Dees
While many suspect AFL interference, if anyone ever came out with proof of that, people would go to jail, there could be some collateral violence/retribution from fanatics and the game might never recover. Even a misplaced comment could cost jobs. It's a zillion to one.

Trade Targets
Yes Port would release their best young kid.

Team Pressure
Didn't one of the footy shows say we were the 2nd youngest side this round? That would explain the pressure dropping. Mental and physical fatigue setting in.

CHANGES: Rd 17 vs Port Adelaide
Media saying Butters and Clurey back.

Mark Williams to the Pies?
Or Ross Lyon.

CHANGES: Rd 17 vs Port Adelaide
And a Crow dropped it and then it was kicked 8 metres to Tex , who goaled and put them in front and then another Crow pushed Pickett in the back as he tried to mark 20 out from our goal and then another Crow hand balled it straight out, all in the last two minutes and all not paid to us after several dubious frees and goals therefrom were handed to the Crows. Funny game footy.

Mark Williams to the Pies?
Choco will be 63 in August. He wonโt get a senior gig again. Yze could and that is a worry, as we have already lost Burgess.
-
Mark Williams to the Pies?
And there you have it. As I said weeks ago, the big signing that could save a Board and keep Mitchell at Hawks. Could the quinella be Ross Lyon to Blues.

Gary Moorcroft
It's a long way from the best mark ever.

Another SHOCKING Decision
Cats keep on getting. Hocking back to Cats with whatever advantages in place. Brad Scott possible replacement and brother of Cats Coach. Labour Government pouring money into the club which is in a labour seat.

Time to panic?
It is impossible to smash a side without good forward entry and multiple scoring options. Atm I think we would all agree we have neither. For example how do we compare with the Dogs? Bont, MacRae, Smith, Libba, Hunter, JJ and Treloar and Dunkley on return, can all dispose well under pressure, with Treloar probably the weakest, but so quick he makes metres. Then forward they have Naughton, English, Bruce, Weightman etc who are clearly better than our guys. We have a better defence, but their defence is under less pressure, because of their mids and forwards.

Are the Demons pretenders?
Sadly, lose to Port and if Lions and Cats win, we are 5th, with a hard draw to come and 6th looking likely soon after.

POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs GWS
Perhaps if his team mates gave him a forward option or told him he was โhotโit might have worked out a bit differently on those occasions.
