  1. I never have one with any of our games.
  2. Brad Scott still in the race.
  3. Do you know how Brodie Kemp is going with them. At one stage DL's were very keen to get him.
  4. I see it more as a blue jumper option.
  5. Agree, but you need a distraction from the current problems.
  6. Well we already know who will be ahead in the free kicks and umpiring generally.
  7. Gee, that is very defeatist of you OD. Cheer up it will get better.
  8. On that chart, Gus kicks less than 1 from 6 shots and Clarry at nearly 1 in 4. Saturday Hawks mids scored 5 goals to our none. A slight improvement by our mids and we probably beat Hawks, Crows and Giants.
  9. Leading to the pockets is IMO an instruction from the coaches. It is clearly based on keeping possession and IMO, affects our chances of scoring from inside 50 entries. That is probably borne out by our scores.
  10. Agree. That's what leads to that idiotic attempted pass by Fritta, when 40 out on the boundary and we are leading by 5 points, deep into the last quarter. He passed to a small forward, with 3 Hawks defenders all around him, to try and get it to a better scoring position, when a point would have won us the game and even at that stage, wasted a bit more time. The result was the obvious spoil, with the ball rushed up the other end of the ground. While I am at it, where were the leaders telling him to take his 30 seconds and make sure he gets a score at least with the kick?
  11. Now you have outdone your former kinkiness.
  12. We are the only team in history to have lost or drawn 3 times, to teams 14 places below us, at the time of the game. Congrats Dees.
  13. Well then he will be dropped because that is not our game.
  14. Atm he is one of the hardest mids in the game, but also one of the least skilled and effective. Needs to get his game back.
  15. Well here is an idea for lazy Melbourne forwards when Viney has it, get in front, you know it will fall short.
  16. 2 Dogs throws in a minute, no problem.
  17. Well, if we thought Mac was a real talent, I hope we lobbied to exclude players that maybe clubs had already put years into, spending considerable time and resources. I haven't seen any other player mentioned this year, as an NGA player going top 20, that would affect another club. Great then that it comes into play, after other clubs have reaped the benefit.
  18. I am confident the rule wouldn't have changed if the NGA player was tied to the Cats or Saints.
  19. MFCSS has to exist for a reason and there is another one. Just typical. I still hold hope that he won't go top 20. I can't see a very tall, skinny kid like that ( 70 kgs ), playing for a couple of years. There are other kids in the draft possibly ready to go in the AFL and several clubs may not have the need for a developing ruckman. Can you imagine explaining to your members that you took a kid top 20, that might need 2-3 years before he is ready to play. That is usually the late picks and rookie picks for that type of player.
  20. Anyway, if we don’t get Mac I am pretty sure we will be taking a ruckman somewhere in the main draft or rookie draft. We have Max, LJ and Bradtke who is now being developed as a key back. We are thin in the ruck if we get an injury to Max or LJ.
  21. Is he as good as Grundy, who was ready to go and went 18? Anyway if he comes to us great and if he doesn’t, so be it.
  22. Let’s throw some MFCSS in. If he goes top 20 to another club he will end up the greatest player in the history of the game. If he slips and we get him, he won’t be good enough to get a game for Casey.
  23. I am happy to allow throws that look like handballs to most observers, as that is the way sport is umpired. They can't see everything and get every decision right. I am more concerned at blatant incorrect decisions, like ducking, push in the back, htb etc.
  24. Pick umpires who know the difference between a handball and a throw and are professional enough to pay what they see.
