Farewell Luke Jackson
There you go, the possibilities are evolving. I trust JT and Lamb to be smart to get us a good deal, which on the initial look of it may disappoint some on DL, but eventually wins out.

Hasn't Allen been injured all year? I can hear it already.

Maybe not now, but deals create outcomes. As an example GWS have 3 and 21 and will get plenty more via Taranto and Hopper. They may do a deal for 2 with 3 and another pick for example.

As I have said on here before and even started DL's longest, biggest and best thread on it, there is only one player who left us who I have booed and that was not because he left, but the way he acted in leaving. It is ridiculous to treat players who come to us as heroes and ones who leave as traitors. It is just the nature of the game and for those who don't like it, they need to get used to it, or follow another sport, probably not team based.

As long as Jacko says he won't go into the PSD.

IF he went to WC and we got 2 and 20, we could split 2, if we don't want Cadman and have our eye on others, who the split picks could still get. That would give you 3 picks inside 20 and maybe even a player somewhere in the deals. It would certainly open up a lot of options. Then you tell Pies its our next pick in the 30's for Grundy or he stays. This trade period and draft could really change our list for the better, if we are smart with drafting and trading.

Surely if he says he is wanting out he knows which club and there is a deal in place. Freo has long been mentioned as getting him and this all seems like media click bait. Hopefully we don’t get screwed on this. I am not confident we won’t be. To an extent we already have been, in missing out on Cerra.

He will be 23 early next year and has hardly played. Am I missing something?

Simon says
Unless the change is to take Gus off Neale, after keeping him to 3 effective possies in the first half, replacing Gus with Sparrow and watching Neale get 18 effective possies in the second half and lead the Lions to Victory.

You would imagine Freo trading a player plus a pick, gets Freo a better pick. Do that a few times and you have a few higher picks, that can then be bundled, to get even higher picks. My concern is that if the deal is 2 reasonably high first round picks and we give one to the Pies, you are getting Grundy and one pick for Jacko and I wouldn't do that deal. If it was a player and a high pick, in addition to Grundy, that is somewhat better but still not great, as i think we could get Grundy for a much lower pick, or let him remain a Pie.

And one goal assist. Gave one off with a handball.

Given he is on the ground, he probably already does.

And Treacy. Give up a pick 3 Premiership Rising Star at 21years old for 11 and 13? NO. I would be happy with Treacy, the Cadman pick needed and Meek/or a later first rounder.

Agree with that, but got his hands to about 12 marking chances and held one. That’s not his knee’s fault. Handballed to guys with opposing players all around and cost us multiple goals last night. Also not the fault of his knee. Lets face it he had a mare in the finals.
