    Don't think so.

No he didn't. The club organised the video and if he is to be believed, the victim accepted the apology and was happy to support the apology and video. Tex actually looked extremely uncomfortable in the video. Obviously wasn't his idea. FWIW, I would imagine if every AFL player's private comments to a mate were made public, there would be a lot of embarrassed people and clubs in the AFL

Yes and also because he had played in the ruck for a few years and was going ok at CHB for Casey as well IMO, meaning he was developing. I do agree that long term he may not have made it, but with no ruck depth and not getting anyone else, I would have kept him another year. After our main 2, I think we have about the worst ruck depth in the AFL and we have Key forward issues too just by the way.

Thilthorpe in now with Walker and Fogarty. Hopefully they are a little top heavy now.

We are only talking on the possibility of Jacko missing this week. Gawn looks likely next week. If Jacko plays we go as selected and no Bradtke would not be picked ahead of Weid. Whatever happens we need ruck depth next year, even if Jacko stays. As someone posted above, with Daw gone, T Mac injured and getting older, there are not many options outside the big two.

i would not play Petty in the ruck and risk him getting injured. If needed, I would play Tomlinson in the ruck, changing with Weid.

Makes my suggestion last year, to keep Austin Bradtke for another year as Insurance, sound quite good now. It was foresight and not hindsight. I actually thought he was doing ok at CHB and in the ruck. Certainly no star, but good Insurance until we could bolster ruck depth.
  8. We can probably summarise this thread as follows: Jacko please stay.
  9. But a sting that can be removed.
  10. You don't get stung by having MFC memberships, as they are great presents, or could be sold off by bringing in new members. PS: I am sure the club would fix it up if you weren't happy anyway.

Could we change the headline by adding " and Luke Jackson has just re signed with the Dees for the next 7 years"

Don’t think so. Looked like he tried to push his opponent away and tangle of feet with umpire.

Clear enough. No suggestion, that’s what happened. Won’t go further.
  14. Demonland was offline.
  15. “They’ve gone May and Lever as part of their big spend, who are very good players, but what influence can they really have on winning games of football?” David King. 🙉
  16. Then your the woman I've searched for, come with me and escape!
  17. Sorry I was a few minutes late. One thing we know for sure any player that re signs with his club including LJ and Gus if they do, will use the same old line” I was never leaving, I love the boys and the club”.
  18. Well that’s better news than what I read.
  19. Probably based on the fact that he hasn’t re signed by now. Interesting that other big names at other clubs, like Neale and English, already have.
  20. Looks that way as now saying 10-12.
  21. The 3rd and most important goal, came from a 5 metre pass, after a blatant free to us, for an Adelaide player dropping the ball was ignored. That of course was followed by the most blatant deliberate out of bounds, in the history of the game, by an Adelaide defender, was again ignored by a scared umpire, too afraid of the Adelaide crowd to do his job.

He would be sensational for us.

You suggested taking players 23-27. I just pointed out that Cameron is well past that and is only 1 year younger than Gunston. In other words you would not only take 23-27 year old players, you would also take players who will be 30 early next year. That is fine, I was just clarifying what you were saying is our target age/player.

Only Frawley walked of that group. The others were encouraged to look around.
