Surely if Bombers are going to deal 4, they do it with Gold Coast for 5 and a future pick, which means Bombers probably get their player anyway and pick up a bonus for next year, while allowing Suns to stop another club taking their preferred player. That would be the biggest win for the Bombers.

Question, why were our 2 finals played at Ikon park and not Casey? Why were Tigers allowed to play a home final with a capacity of 2800? To be made to play on a ground we have never seen, in 32 degrees, with no training run and no fans seems a bit unfair. Hopefully we smash them and it all doesn’t matter.

Agree. Get the top end talent in now. Then maybe trading up from 37 into the 20’s is doable, with a F2 and 37. I don’t know anything about Foster, Lemmey or Gilbey, but you will get one of those or another good player in the 20’s. That way you keep your F1’s for a strong draft or trade next year. Jefferson is a few years away from AFL at best and maybe you get just as good later, or even better next year. I have been keen on George for a while and just accepted we would take Jefferson for need, but JT might have other plans and like most on DL, I trust him and the recruiting guys to get the job done.

I still recall in Kozzies first season, sitting behind some feral Carlton supporters, who stopped short of racially abusing him, but at best, kept calling him Cyril. I just couldn’t understand why you would knock a first year player. Anyway, after Kozzie kicked a great goal, I jumped up screaming “go Cyril.” Then again after his second goal and every time he touched it. It drove the ferals mad. They went very quiet and we won, a good day at the footy.
