I am hearing that Setterfield and Stocker may be delisted by the Blues. Would think the Bombers and Roos would look at both.
-
Fort will likely replace him. He is a big loss to them, as he does so much more than just take hit outs.
-
I think you are right. The problem could be that it's not really going to get better in one week, but still, 2 weeks off playing and training is better than playing and risking a disaster with a likely restricted performance anyway.

I think the current problem, with playing certain sides has emanated from winning a flag with a certain method. IMO this has allowed the FD to become sort of arrogant/stubborn, in that they refuse to change the method/game plan/selection in any way to suit the current circumstances, which are different to last year. We don't have a fit Tom Mac. We don't seem to win last quarters. We don't seem to be applying as much pressure and for as long. We are susceptible to pressure being applied to us. Our disposal efficiency is down. Our fitness may not be at the same level as last year. Many players have suffered injuries, or are out of form. We haven't blooded any new players to improve depth experience. Rival Coaches know our game plan and have worked out tactics to deal with our game plan. Rival Coaches have said we are very predictable and their players are coached as to what we will do. We appear to be slower than last year. The arrogance/stubbornness, comes from apparently not accepting that our game plan may not be what it was last year, as a result of the above factors and probably more I haven't mentioned and just sticking to the mantra of "our game plan will win the day if we do it better. " Well maybe it can't anymore, because it has been worked out, or we simply can't do it any better because of the factors above and others. Then again, we could be in a PF after friday night and that is a pretty good result.

Well we need to adapt to situation immediately and play to interpretation.
-
Then expect Neale to get 50 possessions.
-
2 of the 3 angry Coaches out and hopefully we remove the last one left in the PF.
-
I note Longmuir wasn’t scared to play a second gamer in a sudden death final. Amiss did ok for them.
-
IMO Cam Guthrie is the initiator for the Cats. He lifted in the second and so did the Cats. His brother is playing well too.
-
Saw Weid last night after the game and told him well done last week and he thanked me. Was with Tom Mac and a couple of others. Such a pity that the Weid of the Geelong final a few years ago, could have made a huge difference yesterday.
-
Well the blinkers must be starting to hurt, because he scratched his left leg at least 30 times, in his 7 minute presser after the game.
-
He was doing it far earlier in the year.
-
Scott rested and rotated his stars to have them fresh. We will see if he was smart.
-
And get soft frees and 50's while he is at it. The Tracc one was an accident and probably self inflicted.
-
Is there any protective gear for a cracked fibula?
-
That's a good idea. Bomb it high to the pocket to 5 smalls and Fritta.
-
Has Scott been smart resting and rotating players to keep them fresh? We look cooked in last quarters.
-
We will know next week. I am accepting of him going if we can fix issues with our list. Grundy, A key forward from Freo and a pick to get another, plus add JVR, BBB and Tom for a year and we are much better off.
-
LJ’s worst game of his 50. Terrible.
-
The G. Our home. Won 2 and lost 7 in last 9 games there. One of the wins was in the last 11 seconds. Fitness? Last quarters this year have killed us. High pressure exposes our poorly skilled players. Forward line problems continue, both scoring and retaining possession.

Spargo would have had 14 possies and 2 goals, if ANB could pass a footy 20 metres half accurately. ANB and Melk tonight made Spargo look like Bobby Skilton.
-
Swans scored most of their scores from turnovers. ANB is the turnover king and momentum killer in the team and has been for most of the second half of the year? That missed 20 metre kick to Spargo, to set up an easy goal, was the cherry on top of his fumbles and turnovers.
-
That is the biggest thrashing of Buddy I have ever seen. Buddy had 3 possies late into the last quarter and they were all gifts from the umps.

That's exactly it. Poor skill is exposed under pressure.
