  1. Not a lot, but I don’t believe I would see “hatred”. I would imagine “dislike” for footy ability, but not “hatred” for a person. If people are hating a player simply because of his sporting ability, that is pathetic.
  2. No doubt about whipping boys. I just don’t accept the word “hate” as a description for how posters on DL feel about certain Dees players.
  3. I don't think Jake or any Dees player gets "hate" on DL. Yes, they might not be seen as great, or being in the side each week, but not hate. Hate is very personal about a person and most of us don't even know the players, other than what is seen of their footy, so I don't see criticism of their current footy ability as "hate".
  4. You mean 4-6.
  5. Perhaps Salem will be back inside the first 4 or so games, which is very good news.
  6. Hunter has always been a very good player. He is a steal, as many of us have posted since the trade was announced.
  7. Or that he wants to look more like Goody and is staying.
  8. I might write a song about that.
  9. Well, had a birthday and didn’t invite me. Lucky I am thick skinned. Hope you had a great birthday 🎂 and you get another flag with the Dees for a present.
  10. Was that a condition of his new contract with us?
  11. Has my last post been censored and deleted?
  12. Want to add a few more. The game was played on grass. There was no roof. Was played in daytime. Had to wear footy guernseys. Ball was made of leather. Only allowed 18 on ground for them. A plane flew overhead. The car park was full. There was no grandstand on the outer side. They ran out of hot dogs. Dusty wasn’t feeling like it. Etc, etc, etc.
  13. Salem could be a month or two, to get his thyroid right. He won’t be rushed back.
  14. AFL 360 last night in their graphics, stating that footy starts this week and listing the games for this week. Good start.
  15. They are close and let’s hope he knows.
  16. According to Tracc on AFL Tonight, he has no doubt Kozzie will stay. They are close.
  17. He lost a one on one when Dusty pushed him in the back and grabbed his jumper. 4 umpires didn’t see half his torso showing as his jumper was pulled up and away from his body. McVee is a real find and added to Hunter and Grundy who improve our best side, helps improve our depth. Also didn’t see much of Woey given his late appearance on the ground , but he did a couple of nice things. Coming along nicely.
  18. He might get a fine.
  19. Our ball movement has definitely quickened and improved. We actually cut the tigers up quite a few times when attacking. That is a great sign. The unselfish play has returned and that is also great. Lastly we have improved our best 22-23 and have more depth.
  20. McVee seemed to be on him for most of the game.
  21. Fantastically balanced footballer.
  22. My early prediction for Umpires’ Pet of the year, is Bailey Smith. 4 blatant holding the balls called play on and he gets touched and soft free.
  23. Oskar Baker gets Dogs first goal. Played a very good first quarter and is Bevo’s standout pre season performer.
