One proviso: play those players who are following instructions. Only them. Leave out those who aren't, no matter who they are. No exceptions

Changes for next week? Give the players a week off from being flogged at training, then expecting them to be up for a game. That is, let them recover.

So when do they get to recover for the next week? Wasn't it Craig whose team (Adelaide) collectively asked him to reduce the training load through the year? Hmmmm

Maybe the team needs the week off.....refresh.....come back and enjoy the game AND follow instructions. According to Missen, we have hard training during the week (every week?). Maybe time to ease up. Ed.: they play as if tired, yet we all know they have been training their arses off. Other teams are recovering during the week. Not us.

I'd prefer he refunded the club the money paid to him (I'd call it salary, but that's usually earned.).

Grimes and Tregove (and Scully) may get there; the rest are journeymen; BUT they are still on the list (McLean the exception). Hawthorn, on the other hand, except when they got it right in 2001 (Hodge) & 2004 (Roughead, Franklin - thanks Richmond) , have been disasterous - with many playing few/no games. Richmond is the other notable disaster. In short; we have got players who can play, but no stars.

Hands up! I never really rated Lyon. Shows what I know. Early days, but Lyon + v good list = contender. Freo were really hard at it, tho' they still made plenty of error; impressive. Imagine if they can get their hands on a decent share of Sandiland's taps (us and Jamar?).
