Anyone who thinks that "the headline is enough" in the HeraldSun to make a character judgement has serious disadvantages.

What I love most is that Hardwick always does his best to change the lighting of his coaches box so TV cameras cant see him. It always amuses me. I like it better than Clarko covering his mouth to swear. Damo also has been poking himself in the eye a few times when he can bear to look.

Good bet unfortunately, its worth it even if its only to cash out when odds change, which they must surely be about to.

According to my Muslim mate at work, he and many other devout muslims dont bother with getting up early enough to eat and drink each day. I asked why and he said you have to finish before 1st light (at least half an hour before official dawn) so he does not drink anything until last light. Im always amazed. Yes, he has mind fades!

I havent seen it mentioned yet that Houli was fasting on Saturday. It was the last day of Ramadan. If you dont eat from before 1st light, it would be easier to have a mind fade especially at that level of sport. Im not excusing his actions but wondering how strict he would be. My guess is that he would have fasted. Checked: He fasted.

I can see JKH suddenly improving. I watch him "nearly" do some clever things. I believe Bugg and JKH will make it. I reckon Bugg will clean up his kicking and stick his overhead marking, and JKH will just find a calmness in the heat of modern footy and click. I dont have this optimism with Nibbler or unfortunately Harmesy (who I really like).

I have been asking the Blues supporters at work if they noticed the Suns game at Etihad. Answer: mainly No Why? Not one of them had long sleeves. Yet the Blues had at least 6 players that I could see at the MCG in long sleeves. I was told by at least 2 that it is a generational thing (Silvani). I replied Im sure Hardwick would have pointed out at 3/4 time how they are finding the weather uncomfortable.

When I watched him pre-season at training I thought he looked best as a small forward. But I dont think he has played that role at Casey. I was impressed with smart fast leading and good hands.

How sad he is going.

Absolutely dislike this person. Had to hear about him dancing on our (near) grave at his sons soccer match since 2010. Laughing fit to burst was the (continual) word. Every week Id hear about his chortlings about MFC demise. Any day day now and they deserve it, he would say to the soccer dads. He cant be live on radio or TV because it makes his blood pressure rise, he'd complain about his coodabeen tv career. Shut up F face.
