Last week i saw Jones getting the ball in his range and looking for an option to short pass to. This was more ANB type forward work but very happy to see the captain not bomb it and look for another option. I think the lead will change more than once and the Hawks are just so well coached, disciplined with defensive setups and kick unfalteringly to position that their less talented team will mean it will be heart in mouth for the last 10 minutes.

Melksham is just a better player than Weid at present. If the Weid comes in, you need to play him for a consistent period. 3 weeks or so, potentially carrying him as he comes up to speed. There may be better time to bring him in; say round 7/8/9 against Saints/Suns/Blues. Id keep Melksham at least against the Hawks.

He was a bad influence on younger players.

Although I think the Big Mac is 1st picked, Im excited that Pedo looks to be an option. I rate him highly and would like him to be in the Ones early in the year.

I believe Tom Mac is our most valuable player. He is first picked for my 22. He is proven, tough and reliable. He seemingly has come back very quickly from his end of year operations and I would be happy to have him as a stand alone captain. I bet other teams envy us and I see him not only kicking 50 if he is not sent back to help out, but goal assisting many others this year. Reminds me of Ross Glendinning.

Id really like a FM station that had Francis Leach and say, Bob Murphy doing drive time radio. I like the Ox but I find the whole station 90% driven by dumbf##ks. Being in touch with my grump side, I can normally only last 20-30 minutes till Marko sh!ts me. I dont think it has to be dumbed down that much but a smarter (more grown up?) take on sport couldnt go wrong.

Watched the Goodbye to Ripponlea studios on the ABC last night. Excellent show. May have noticed a well known Demonlander in one of the shots.

Bugg and Pederson to have great years. Hogan and Petracca to stay promising. Tom MacDonald to be match winner again at least twice. ANB to be 1st 22. I hope to see more short passes lace out inside the 50.

Many recite possession numbers. And Tyson has high possesion counts. His disposal is [censored] and has been for 2 years. You seem to think it isnt a big deal. I do think it is because I see us running out of gas 18 weeks into the season this year and last. My view is we are contesting fine but players are wearied from not getting enough clean balls to lighten their load and eventually it kills the team. Hawthorns well known ability to pinpoint kicks and handballs helped keep them fresh into September. Tysons not the only one but he is obvious because he can get the pill.

Therefore Gendry has a claim too. I understand that technically Little Sam isnt a true Tarly but hey..

Why do they need to capture a white walker? Why not good old uncle BenJen? Or a child of the forest? And whats with this cut throats dagger being passed around? I was told a different story last weekend. Not that I believe it but it went like: Hird's fervent denial that the players were injected with supplements depends on his belief that Dank had taken money for "the good stuff" but that Dank had not gone through with injecting the team with what he (Dank), finally realised was now prohibited. Hird found out the injections were actually saline and that Dank had not come through and had dudded Hird. Thats why Hird was wanting to have the actual records and not what was discussed and paid for. Obviously even if this was true, his intent was real. Not sure if this had been thrown up before as I hadnt kept up with the thread.

It looks to me that: He doesnt have great balance by the time he kicks. He is reasonably accurate anyway which is not a great defense. He is giving the impression he doesnt want to be coached.
