  1. Finally learning to put the foot to the throat. That was exactly the way we should have dominated against a poor team. The first term was as good as i have seen since i was in my 20's. Fast, hard and committed. Been saying it far weeks..... We will play finals.

    We've STOPPED !!

Aim high. 10 goal minimum for me to be happy... 6-10 is my "satisfied" level. Anything less than that will be a poor result IMO. GC are terrible and have nothing but draft picks to play for. Time for a flogging.

Suns are fielding half a side that wasnt very good to begin with. Add to that the reports that they have been fighting with each other since Lynch's announcement. Today will be a Dee-Stroy-ation. MFC by 10 goals+, and me with a hangover tomorrow.
  5. Helloooooooooooo. (Someone will get it)

If we are aiming to drop the $10m + per year from One Arm Bandits, the club will need a much stronger hook to get more out of sponsorships like SWYL says. We only deserve to put our hand up if we make finals this year (which i think we will). Carlton absolutely MUST miss out if form is even a small part of the formula, which ofc it isnt. Because AFL income.
  7. Hello Bernies Mum !! Tell your boy we love his guts. Love from Demonland. x
  8. Crows were waiting at the Melbourne race for several minutes while our boys handed out balls and high fived the crowd. They formed a guard of honor and clapped him off. Plenty of respect shown by AFC.

Nah this thread deserves to be seen by as many people as possible, if for no other reason than it shows even the most level headed, long term poster can make statements that they regret in an hours time. Happens to the best of us.
  10. Told you we would play finals....... Go you good thing.

The Crows are aware we dont handle pressure, and (we) are starting to become desperate. They also owe us one for the hiding we gave them earlier in the season. If the game is close in the last qtr, i can see the MFC panic setting in again. An Adelaide win keeps them in with a chance of playing finals, and almost puts us out, considering our run home. I have no confidence that we can win tonight. Crows by several goals.
  12. 3 replies to my 1 post.... Boy you have issues. Nobody is out to hurt you but you are trying to act all offended like a precious millennial. Put me on ignore buddy, honest feedback is too much for your delicate constitution.
  13. Man, are you thin skinned. Get a grip.
  14. Learn to handle criticism or you will spend your entire life in the foetal position crying. That was a hysterical over-reaction to Jadeds comments.
  15. The way StKilda and Geelong were beatable? Or a different kind of beatable? Going by that same logic, Gold Coast proved today that they are more than capable of beating us. You cant just look at whatever side of the story fits your narrative and ignore the rest. FWIW we might beat Sydney, but the other games look like being beyond our ability. If we do make finals, it will probably be by percentage only. Today was a huge setback. HUGE.

I have been saying for weeks that we will win this game. This is the sort of ground that seems to suit our high press, and should also reduce the amount of "out the back" opportunities Geelong might have otherwise had. If the umpires can be even-handed (yeah, i know....) we can win this. Like Gawny said, we need to win at least 2 of our remaining games against fellow contenders or we won't play finals. MFC do not play well when its desperation stakes, so leaving our run till the last few games would be an almost guaranteed disaster. We have to start somewhere, and today is the day. Go Dees.

We will beat Geelong AND Sydney. I feel it in me waters. Finals is ours to lose, and we have done enough losing over the past decade. The drought has to break eventually, and we have the team, even if our gameplan is a bit hit and miss. ITS TIME

Geez the Bears are giving it to Hawthorn. 5 Goals up with game almost over. Helps us for sure. Great result. (For the Bears AND us)

Regardless of what happens against the Dogs, ( We will have a percentage booster) we will beat Geelong. Im serious. (And a little drunk)

Every member of the team, and its coach all safely rescued from the cave. RIP the brave volunteer Ex- Thai SEAL who died while helping to save the boys and their coach. This was an incredible rescue and one that should be remembered for generations. Inspirational. Well done Thailand and all of the international volunteers. You are amazing.

8 Boys confirmed rescued with 5 people left to save. It would be great to have all out today, but the last one might have to wait an extra day to see the sun. I would put my money on the coach being the last one out. Epic rescue so far and i hope everyone makes it to the finish line.

6 out now according to reports. I love the way the Thais are handling the media during this whole ordeal. Nothing to get expectations too high, and even the news of each rescue isnt officially announced until the days work is completed. The lack of information has also meant less mistakes by the media in their usual haste to be first. Brilliant. Hope every single person ( victims and rescuers, who are absolute bloody heroes ) makes it out safely.
