Any win against North is a good one, even when they (Norf) dont really want to win. Bank it and pump the Eddies next week. We are still in the season.

So you think that the bottom teams DONT think they can beat us? Let me tell you, from what i have heard from a couple of AFL players, we are barely respected by most teams. Publicly the message might be different, but in private we are still not rated. The whole footy world thinks we are a flaky side who doesnt like pressure. The fact we have beaten a few bad teams doesnt change that.

Mahoney was so smug in the club video when he said last week was a once off performance. He was almost laughing when Ben aksed about the shocking performance against Port. Fast forward 6 days and we are seeing something almost identical from a Melbourne point of view. Yeah, we are up by a few points, but have not played any better than last week. Our club is absolutely broken. We might end up winning by a few goals but right now any sane footy follower would have their money on the Cows. This game has heartbreak written all over it.

I cant decide if this is a no-win game or a no-lose game..... No-Win scenario: If we lose.... well that speaks for itself. If we win..... that should be expected so its not really a win (unless its by a gigantic margin). No-lose scenario: We lose...... more ammunition to use against the club and its coach. Can feel vindicated for past criticism of same. We Win...... Also speaks for itself. 4 Points and we are still in the race for finals. I think no matter what happens i will still be left feeling flat. Its what the club does well.

Yep. A listless win by 2 or 3 goals against The Crows wont be nearly enough to give him breathing space. If we just fall over the line its almost as bad as a loss for Goodwin. Obviously we will take the 4 points no matter how it comes but a BIG win is what is required tomorrow. Heaven help us if we lose. No club has a better record of helping the oppo break a losing streak than we do so its a real possibility. Adelaide will certainly think we are gettable, and so they should. Take no prisoners.
