Issy is a chance but he only got through 10 mins training yesterday before heading off.Sio is elbow, he got smashed in the scrum all game and then damaged the arm in a scrum.
-
Thought I read today there is no grounds for a contract renegotiation? It would be up him to amend it. I wouldn't..
-
Pocock, Issy and Sio all in doubt and not doing much training this week. Could be another nail biter.

Someone mentioned this in another thread but didn't have a huge amount of detail. Good luck Joel! -
All we can hope for is for the SAFOs and the ABs to beat the living suit cases out of each other. in fact it will be a fascinating game. The ABs will have the edge with there outside backs but it will be a night game of they SAs can keep it in tight.

Josh has been sated, he wants no more.....

F that, Parker...

True but we may be able to trade back into the first round again next year as well. Who knows with the wizard Mahoney in charge.
-
I just want him to be honest with us. (Followed by an eye roll)

Fair call and the best part is we won't know for years if it actually works out or not. Yay we have upped our draft this year and could set it back next year. The players that come out of it we won't know for 2-3, possibly longer, if they are going to push us deep into finals. The players that we traded in will they be any better than the guys we shipped out, will we be envious of them at there new clubs? But I think we all have more faith in the drafting of the right players and then the development to bring those players on.

Only gold plated?! Tough crowd. -
Yeap agree, that was just such a shocking period I would hope that PJ has put in place the key people needed to make sure that doesn't;t happen again. Roos, Goody, Macca etc to develop these guys to where we need them to be. While progressing on field to then be able to land some free agent gems over the next few years to push us to a solid finals team.
-
But we may still be able to trade back into the first rnd next year....
-
here fing here.... Oli.... thoughts?
-
But no trade has been agreed to? F me if I was GWS I'd send him to the draft and raise a complaint with the AFL.

Future picks can be a dangerous commodity.

Buyer was really interested, we had chit assets to sell.

Interesting topic. Cats are going all in for now. You'd hate to be them in 5 years when those assets they may have drafted mature and there list is not as good. I look at the Pats as a team that stockpiles draft picks as much as possible. The Washinton NFL team went into massive debt for Griffin III... But again it depends on your current list and staff to get the job done.

It's the duck on the pond look. Everything is moving fast underneath but your see a gliding duck up top. Just because our duck has been moving in some circles doesn't mean it's legs ain't furiously moving where you can't see them.

P there is a difference between teeth nashers and people who fixate on one person or one decision as then label everything from that as a negative. We need to look at the big picture of it. Long way off still, a lot of players don't want to come to us, the ones we had as collateral we couldn't get much for... we will improve and it will come from internal but hoping for some of the new guys to improve us as well.

DJ as I said earlier, check the posts I've made on the whole Mahoney is rubbish lean that has occurred here... I don't subscribe to it and was taking the fizz. Will chuck in a snazzy emoticon next time. I think we are kicking every tire and looking under every rock for the type of players we want. Whether these players want to come over to us, and whether other clubs think we have assets to trade for the players they have that we rate is a different story. Our improvement will be another step up but will mostly have to come from within unless something else comes up to finish this trade period. (but again none of us have an ear to what the team is doing behind closed doors).
