I'm sure clubs have been struggling financially prior to today's game moon. While I have no sympathy for Carlton (the arrogant cheats) the gap between the haves and have nots is widening and feels like it is at a stage where it will be like the EPL. Top 3 clubs can win it otherwise it is a battle for he minor placings.

I did say compared to us and also noted will it make them actual contenders. Us vs Richmond vs being a flag contender are all poles apart.

The Tigs have been hugely successful compared to us over the last few years with this strategy. Will it get them over the hump and to be an actual contender, that is the question as they seem to believe they have a really good core they are trying to build around.
