Nisbett for sure but give me a spell you’re looking to flay Gaff for the entire Eagles “history”? Maybe have a spell from the thread for a bit, I suspect you’ll feel better for it. And just to be really clear, Gaff has done some brutal damage to an unsuspecting opponents faces and will go through the tribunal process and he should be suspended for a decent period of time. This over the top but it’s the current climate of outrage.

Im not sure what is a charade about it? This is total media hysteria, they want a perp walk through the airport, good on the Eagles for looking after Gaff.

I am the worst at throwing a punch and hate it but I clearly know that wasn’t a punch, you watch NJones pregame on the pads with the gloves, he throws a punch. The way i saw it, Gaff threw a ridiculous swinging arm to get some space, get some frustration out etc, he [censored] d up and will pay the price. He was/is known to the Brayshaw family they get to judge Gaff as a person the tribunal gets to judge to action. Seeing Robbo and Whately on 360 just made me roll my eyes, i don’t recall them being so outspoken about Essendrug (I may be wrong but don’t recall them so horrified). I hope the Eagles, the AFL and the Dees are supporting all people involved.

Obviously Hibbo comes back in when fit, until then Smith is on par with the best avail. Wagner is the only one who he may be changed out with but he is yet to convince at the top level and has been overlooked when Hibbs went down. Understand the want for “better” in each position on the field but as I said previsouly there isn’t much stock on the farm at present. Smith is growing and I would be surprised if he is dropped this week or before Hibbs is ready. Anyway wrong post for it, well done ANB, he keeps putting himself into the right spots during games because of his work rate.

Who comes in for Smith? He is very much finding his feet at the top level but the cupboards ain’t overflowing gun half backs at present.

You know when you listen to SEN (come on most of us do occasionally) and they have the “call in and tell us your realistic trade/FA scenarios for you club” segment... and all you do is roll your eyes for 3 mins before getting embarrassed by some Pies nuffy saying they will trade chit truck player x for gun player y and then get FA gun is “cumin to da Pies as well”. You’re so embarrassed for them you turn it off... seems like this thread over the last few pages.

Hhhmm has been running red flags for me and how far the AFL will go especially with our drafting focus of contested ball players. Of the drongos at HQ want to open the game up we could be left in the lurch.

Gaff and Murphy... we would be top 4 with 2 players of their ilk in the R & B.

What has it got to do with us? They are in charge for a reason. Not withstanding our recent rubbish boards, their job is the keep the club moving forward, not to engage us in every minor detail.

Pretty sure they have plan b and c but plan A is plan A for a reason.

PJ has also stated in the last AAMI is bloody expensive and a “sunk cost”. Not our venue and we can’t make any revenue from it like naming rights etc.
