  1. I'll remember that when you're wanting updates from Maroochydore training.
  2. There's nothing to suggest it's concocted by the club looking to draft him.... there are other motives at play.
  3. Gee you guys have short memories don't you. I've lost count how many of you have bitched, moaned and winged about Jack Darling becoming a good player since he slid in his draft year and here you go again - All just scared towing the party line, listening to the media beat up and treating it like it is some sort of evidence. I'm just saying what you guys don't have the guts to say, hiding behind your little alliances and the consensus thought on here.
  4. Not sure on those ones....footy and drugs in sport are my specialty.
  5. I'm making plenty of sense... I'm just not easily suckered in. This crap happens every year in varying degrees and this year is no different...it's all part of the game and the clubs spare no expense to get what they want. This goes beyond vibe, this is what I would call a "Blind Freddie" Brock McLean type of knowing.
  6. Might be the case,so long as this isn't Carlton's way to get him to drop from the Bombers 4 or 5 which could adversely affect our pick at 7. Someone else mentioned the connection to his brother at Carl potentially being a motive for all of this.
  7. Sorry mate, no evidence needed here just a set of eyes & ears, a nose and other non commonly recognized senses. When I read your post I thought [censored], please don't tell me half of Demonland are in on this. I suppose it's possible clubs have insiders masquerading as regular posters on here...surely not??
  8. No joke - I can confirm that I have the blinkers well and truly taken off over here.
  9. Word coming through from Brett Anderson that Curnow is now firming for the No 1 pick.
  10. Not saying he willingly gave himself a police record, more likely certain people new what he was going to be up to and had a hand and it playing out the way it did.
  11. I went through the same thing as a 19 year old drinking on my P's, and I had no idea of my rights when sitting in a police station awaiting a breath test, so I can totally understand the panic aspect especially with what is happening on Tues night. It is totally plausible that the P plate part is nothing more than them not being displayed properly or something and dirt gathering by the authorities, and in regards to the Stop sign, if I had police following and pressuring me, I'd probably go through a stop sign because I'd freak out and not pay proper attention to my driving. The drinking bit....Most 18 year old's let their hair down at this time of the year and the choice to drive is not a good one but I did it, and I regard myself as a solid law abiding citizen who under pressure to not be able to get home made a poor choice. I don't know if the club wants to take him or not, but I'd be [censored] if they did and they let this media built up bull-dust convince them otherwise.
  12. Which is exactly what they want you to believe - don't be suckered in. He might be a bit of a lad to begin with, but it's just way too much of a coincidence this happening right now, not to mention the way it has been broadcast through the media. Here's a question for you to consider.... you don't think any of the other 17-18 year old's looking to get drafted have played up in the last 12 months in some way? Why haven't these stories been plastered all over the media?
  13. Way too much of a coincidence and smells rotten to the core - definitely a set up.
  14. Correct. Anyone who thinks we didn't know who we would get when we traded for 3 & 7 are tripping.
  15. Can't see us using 46 on Vander's upgrade. What do you think we'll do? Do you reckon we'll de-list someone .
  16. So they have approx. pick 26, 27 & 47 We have approx. pick 41 & 46 Would you use pick 26 or 27 on him? Was pegged as a late first round/ early rounder before his injury, so that feels like a bit of a stretch. The good thing is we have the pick just before them in the 40's.
  17. Really like the look of Sam Skinner, particularly in the AIS vs Werribee match - No. 26 if my spidey senses are correct. 197cm / 96kgs with a real competitive streak about him. Can't see any reason why we couldn't get him with a later pick but I can't see him lasting to the Rookie Draft. Pretty sure he was a highly rated junior coming into this past season. I know he did his ACL and everything, but has rehabbed well and for me just presents an opportunity to get a quality tall on the cheap a bit like what we did with Max Gawn given he had done an ACL before we drafted him.
  18. I'd recommend watching the AIS Academy match Vs Weribee Sue, it's the footage that sold me on Parish....just the first quarter was enough. Pretty sure it's the second link down on WJ's Pumping for Parish post.
  19. Well if turns out we take 2 talls with pick 3 & 7 - then this tells me that Hogan's headed back to WA and won't re-sign.
  20. I'd say so.... probably posting on Insta. Where did he go - did he swear off of Demonland did he?
  21. This is Francis going up a hanger on the back of a rock - He's got to be worth our pick 7 surely. Can someone please photoshop a sherrin in there for me and I'll make it my new Avatar.
