  1. I mean, there’s a difference between posting in a forum, to caring about two teams playing for picks… I find it interesting what’s happening with the team (re movement and picks) and also other supporters opinions. That’s why I’m here.
  2. Personally, whilst I get mad a lot of decisions (because the umpire is blatantly wrong), it’s so easy for us sitting on our couch to call it out, we have the courtesy of 10 replays and 10 angles. Until the AFL removes umpires and makes it some sort of AI where there are no mistakes, then there will always be decisions that are wrong and that’s the beauty of the game. They go both ways. (Most of the time) There’s no game in AFL history where a umpiring decision decides a game in full, the game could and should have been won by the players, ie: capitalizing on set shots, no turn overs, etc. For us to say umpires should be perfect, we should say that to the players too then. They do the best job they can, and even though frustrating sometimes, that’s the game.
  3. I mean, does anyone actually care at this point…
  4. I really disagree with it, had eyes for the ball, didn’t jump, lift his shoulder or elbow, and was going for the ball. It’s not ideal but both going for the ball. That’s a football accident.
  5. Curious what we would do with him, replace Lever completely or put him forward to assist JVR and Jefferson who are very young.
  6. What I find not good enough about this club is the fact we just accept this [censored] performance, year after year. The only news stories about us are about Steven May’s accidental hit on the Carlton player (can’t recall his name). There’s no uproar, no anger, and nothing being said about movement of players or coaches. We just accept this repeat insipid performances and move on. I don’t claim to have the answers on movement, and what solves our issues everywhere across the field, but cmon, where is the media pressure, the club pressure and CEO saying “we see what’s happening, we have a plan” etc.
  7. *Nathan Buckley has entered the room
  8. They should, but as we aren’t a powerhouse club, they won’t. There’s not enough uproar. We have bugger all members, bugger all attendance at games, and it’s not a huge news story. Should it happen though? Yes, yes it should.
  9. We also win if we kick straight. Or if we hit targets. Let’s focus on how we can improve, not one umpiring decision. If we require an umpiring decision to get wins, then we are clearly not good enough.
  10. Another display of why Goody should pack his stuff and go. We lost, to a team who has their seconds playing due to injuries, who is sitting at the bottom of the ladder, when we are essentially at full strength. When will Goodwin make any changes for the better? Slow, stagnant ball use. Consistent poor ball use. Contested possession. Bombing the ball in all areas of the ground, including going into F50. The same gameplay for four (4) years in a row, with essentially the same results in the past two (2) years. Thanks for your efforts for the premiership, it’s not lost on us, but please leave.
  11. Yet, our club doesn’t call up 393 and SEN, we just accept it. At least Carlton fans care enough to be annoyed by their failures. We just expect it and the club does sweet FA to listen.
  12. Game over lads - not coming back. Put the wine and cheese platters away, off to bed.
  13. Me too mate, me too. Goodwin can’t think of anything but what miracle can Max do for us today… We literally have no other go to…
  14. What’s your plan when Maxy leaves? He’s always our X factor. No other answers we have.
  15. Might go watch Richmond and Eagles. Hopefully it’s of a better standard. Melbourne look confused, bombing it out of D50, and into forward line. Worst we have looked since rounds 0-5.
  16. At times….?
  17. Perceived pressure getting to the boys, bombing as usual. Shocking use of the ball.
  18. Fritch looking good
  19. I want to know, where does Fritta go to the barber? His hair is elite and never misses a beat.
  20. Good luck lads! Bring home the goods
  21. Cmon lads. Stuck it up Carlton, nothing more satisfying than a win, then a win against whingy Carlton supporters.
  22. Not sure there is selection integrity, I think like anything it’s favorites. Tmac was our best defender all year until dropped for no good reason, and despite great performances in the twos, and the ones players not performing, it took injuries to bring him up. I think that needs to be looked at.
  23. Best of luck to Clarry, definitely was one our best for a very long period, deserves a good day. Fingers crossed if not traded, he finds that red hot form again soon.
  24. Alright, so.. is there anything new or any targets after all the ones thrown up are now mostly taken? Who are most likely looking at, and who are we shipping out?
