Awesome! I think his height/build makes him look a lot slower than he is.

Not really. They’re both forwards. Comparing forward for forward is quite standard. If I compared Sparrows taps in the ruck to Max Gawn, that would be strange.

I fully agree he was chosen for family ties, but that doesn’t mean it was a bad decision. I know nothing about him, haven’t followed the draft a heap, I never do until after picks are locked in because it’s all made up until a pick is chosen. I think the pick would be tactical as it keeps Kozzie here for as long as possible on his contract but again that doesn’t mean the new Picket isn’t any good. 32 goals per season for us is very handy. Better than Sparrow who provides us nothing but nice hair.

I disgust what Brisbane have, a song per goal. It’s like 20/20 cricket. I like having the walkout, good way to get the crowd into it early especially for a nervous game.

No real surprises there, fingers crossed with Kingy coming from Geelong he can teach our forwards how to play.. they might have the physical skill but clearly haven’t clicked with positioning and leading. I believe that the midfielders should take options out of the forwards hands and just put in a spot where the forward should be. Maybe then the forwards can focus on “see ball, get ball”.
