Based off photos and videos, the lads are looking the fittest they have been in quite a while. I know Kingy will be smashing them, and that’s probably a lot to do with it, as well as they probably have upped their games after a few shocking years.. Has there been a strength and conditioning coach change that you’re aware of that could also display the change?

If they both get into shape and get form this year, we are laughing. I agreed with his dropping. Should have occurred earlier. Shouldn’t have stopped with him, few needed it who got comfortable and were significantly out of form. Obviously there wouldn’t have been enough back ups. But would have sent one hell of a message.

@picket fence In fairness, I never followed the podcast, I only ever knew it was a podcast. I also have never followed any of the players and what they do off the field, so wouldn’t know if Gus went off the grid or not. Hence why I was asking because I figured it might be a good listen if it was still a thing. Thanks for the info.

I’m certainly no expert on all things draft, literally no clue. Why was he picked up so early this year by us, and no one took him last year? Like I said, no clue how draft works. Was he injured or another reason teams passed him up last year? I guess I’m curious why we took him early when we had later picks and I do recall people saying he would not be an early pick. Sounds like either way, it’s gone really well in our favor and that he’s a jet, just curious on how it works and why really..

Assuming White is low on your list due to needing to beef up, and Matthews re injury? How’s Heath going? I have seen some really positive posts saying he may be the 5th bench player. Is there someone you could compare him to, ie: Jackson (ground work and follow up)? Haven’t seen much of his gameplay so curious if he’s a rough and tough ruck, or follows up, or gets around the ground a lot like Gawn - I assume with his body type he’s more a rough and tough ruck..

Wonder when the club will release time lines on player returns, I’d love to see how far away they are expected with their injuries (Matthews etc)
