Having more time to think of the movements this year, I think Lamb and co did brilliant. We essentially pushed Trac and Oliver out, owing to toxic issues, and tried for May too. We got high draft picks to secure a future. We got experienced heads, and leaders to support our young players and teach them heaps, and it sounds like they will do that unlike what Trac and Oliver were doing. We also picked up a future ruck and a pretty decent backman in CJ, who brings heaps of speed which god knows we need. Very happy with the results, Humphrey would have been a bonus.

Good choice. Doing nothing, probably only thing that could be said is that his gameplay didn’t suit goodies style, maybe it would have for Kingy, but either way good to have another free spot for another player to get a crack.

When’s the draft? Trying to figure out how long the recruits get to be with the team and learn the plays?

I’m fairly happy to be honest. I’m excited for next year. Hopefully a few changes in style and we will at least compete hard and sit around the 8-10 mark. That’s maybe optimistic but I don’t think we lost a whole lot. What we lost in skill, we also lost in toxic players and toxic culture. Hopefully it’s upwards from here.

Never really understood why people mention retired medically or otherwise players like they have decided to leave or something. Let’s not make it seem worse than it is. Should have been more than what we got but it wasn’t, got to build on it, and actually get the culture right (unlike the bull [censored] scam they said last year or the year before about love or whatever) and hopefully things turn around. There is a good bunch of young players there so there’s is hope.

Does white pick come from these draft picks or somewhere else?

What are we likely to take or do with the picks? Looking for forwards/mids/wing?

I think this is disgusting, how are they receiving anything other than Trac. If we give up a player, and two picks, we are truly insipid at trade. Trac for three, or no deal or Trac for BH or no deal. Simple.

Is it? Curnow getting offers for way more, for a bloke who can only play forward, and who’s broken bodied. And no, he’s not that good, take away the whistle, and all the goals he boots against North and WCE, he’s useless. Look at his finals record vs Trac. We deserve at least one good player for Trac with a pick. Don’t know the last time I saw a forward win the best and fairest, because simply they’re not.
