2025 MFC Injury List
Yesss, good to see a few coming back in. Hopefully Aiden Johnson gets called back Up after his strong performance, I love the fire and bullishness he brings!

2025 MRO & Tribunal
I have no intention to offend you, and if I did I apologize. I certainly didnât appreciate your comment saying my opinion is the height of ignorance and essentially that itâs wrong when I am completely entitled to have my opinion.

May to Tribunal
Funny, even Chris Scott is now also defending May and his actions saying thatâs exactly how they coach the Geelong boys. This should be thrown out at the tribunal but Iâm expecting weeks. Hopefully thereâs uproar.

2025 MRO & Tribunal
You ok, dear? I find it funny that you think that he can be a dirty sniper. When he gets suspended for his bumps, he only impacts his team. If you donât see that, youâre the height of ignorance.

2025 MRO & Tribunal
Will say whatâs been super refreshing, Kossie hasnât done his once yearly late sniper bulb on anyone, which is a common once a year occurrence. I assume he has done a lot of work to cut out the behavior because it was obvious on how important he is and the results we werenât getting when he was suspended. (Sadly same result on the ladder, however not due to him). Good on ya Kossie, great to see. Keep it up.

Joe Daniher - worth a knock on his door?
I donât think so. Would be very interesting but not a pick I think would work for us or Joe.

2025 MRO & Tribunal
Pretty funny - Patrick Cripps (Carlton skipper) has come out saying; "As a young guy or a young kid coming in, you're always taught (to) bodyline the ball and when the ball's in dispute, you want to go and win the ball⊠Obviously you never want to see a player get injured â obviously Frankie was courageous in what he did, you never want to see a player get injured â but I just reckon it's so tough. I don't understand what we want May to do there⊠If that's a Grand Final and he hesitates, and let's say Frankie gets the ball... what do you do? I never want to see people go off in the game with with head knocks but I just think it's a really tough situation." Even the opposition players are mind boggled about how the game should be played and likely disagree with it to some extent.

Time to start a rebuild?
I think Fritta in his current form is a must keep, heâs getting 20+ disposals with goals per week now. Certainly at the start of the year until mid year Iâd have wanted him gone.

My 3 word player analysis V North
@joeboy , whereâs yours for Carlton?

The List Manager
Can you add some first names, few with the same names. Is this also a bit of trade rumour?

Umpiring standard
Oh, sorry. I think Iâve come across in a way where I donât think we should comment on them.. thatâs not it. I just donât think we should solely blame them when we miss heaps and make a lot of errors etc. Umpiring certainly gets to me to, especially when itâs a close game and it could have decided it, but I just try to think, what could we have done better? Youâre bang on though. Frustrating when they can make such an impact or decide a game off a bad call.
-
Umpiring standard
Of course thatâs annoying, and shouldnât happen. But I can put any money on the fact that I bet the team that last due to âa bad decisionâ made a load of mistakes, didnât capitalize on shots on goal which could also have made the difference. Itâs not like you look at the scores card and see 0 turn overs and 21 goals straight and no points. Itâs like us against St Kilda this year. 7.21 scorecard. Say an umpire made a mistake on the dying minute, and was wrong and âit cost us the gameâ. Surely youâre not blaming the umpire when we missed 21 pointsâŠ. Both make mistakes, and both are human. Just not sure why itâs only seen that umpires can cost a team a game when usually the team could have also done won it on their own merit.

May to Tribunal
Iâve never understood why they use counsel for a non-legal matter. Wondering if anyone knows why itâs done that way?

PREGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
I mean, thereâs a difference between posting in a forum, to caring about two teams playing for picks⊠I find it interesting whatâs happening with the team (re movement and picks) and also other supporters opinions. Thatâs why Iâm here.

Umpiring standard
Personally, whilst I get mad a lot of decisions (because the umpire is blatantly wrong), itâs so easy for us sitting on our couch to call it out, we have the courtesy of 10 replays and 10 angles. Until the AFL removes umpires and makes it some sort of AI where there are no mistakes, then there will always be decisions that are wrong and thatâs the beauty of the game. They go both ways. (Most of the time) Thereâs no game in AFL history where a umpiring decision decides a game in full, the game could and should have been won by the players, ie: capitalizing on set shots, no turn overs, etc. For us to say umpires should be perfect, we should say that to the players too then. They do the best job they can, and even though frustrating sometimes, thatâs the game.

PREGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
I mean, does anyone actually care at this pointâŠ
-
May to Tribunal
I really disagree with it, had eyes for the ball, didnât jump, lift his shoulder or elbow, and was going for the ball. Itâs not ideal but both going for the ball. Thatâs a football accident.

Trade Targets
Curious what we would do with him, replace Lever completely or put him forward to assist JVR and Jefferson who are very young.

Time to go Goody?
What I find not good enough about this club is the fact we just accept this [censored] performance, year after year. The only news stories about us are about Steven Mayâs accidental hit on the Carlton player (canât recall his name). Thereâs no uproar, no anger, and nothing being said about movement of players or coaches. We just accept this repeat insipid performances and move on. I donât claim to have the answers on movement, and what solves our issues everywhere across the field, but cmon, where is the media pressure, the club pressure and CEO saying âwe see whatâs happening, we have a planâ etc.

Time to go Goody?
They should, but as we arenât a powerhouse club, they wonât. Thereâs not enough uproar. We have bugger all members, bugger all attendance at games, and itâs not a huge news story. Should it happen though? Yes, yes it should.

POSTGAME: Rd 19 vs Carlton
We also win if we kick straight. Or if we hit targets. Letâs focus on how we can improve, not one umpiring decision. If we require an umpiring decision to get wins, then we are clearly not good enough.

Time to go Goody?
Another display of why Goody should pack his stuff and go. We lost, to a team who has their seconds playing due to injuries, who is sitting at the bottom of the ladder, when we are essentially at full strength. When will Goodwin make any changes for the better? Slow, stagnant ball use. Consistent poor ball use. Contested possession. Bombing the ball in all areas of the ground, including going into F50. The same gameplay for four (4) years in a row, with essentially the same results in the past two (2) years. Thanks for your efforts for the premiership, itâs not lost on us, but please leave.
