How can we pick up? What’s the play here?

Sorry if this has been covered, just finished work and haven’t had the chance to catch up - is there a YouTube video or similar of the match we can watch for those who missed it live?

I’ve seen a load of posts for comments saying we will be destroyed in the middle.. which is very possible. I’m really excited to see how our young midfield go. Even if they get destroyed, it’s exciting to see the future and the skill they do have, which will only get better, especially with more years of experience and muscle.

It’s not overly shocking. Heaps of other sports use AI and statistics to essentially predict what other players will do or what is likely to happen against certain teams/players. If anything, AFL is behind on the 8 ball.

One of the main reasons I hope we have success other than the last two seasons being absolutely horrible to watch, is that if we have a decent or even good season, we are more likely to attract some talent. Couldn’t care less about the media’s opinion. Longer we are at the bottom, longer players don’t want to come to us and we become St Kilda.

Look, if he wasn’t injured, I don’t think anyone would say it’s a bad decision to extend him. I think [censored] happens. Whilst he might have a poor kick, I’d take his heart and commitment any day. He will be valuable in teaching the younger boys, and as you said, probably significantly cheaper than Clayton.

Possibly a bad choice, yep. Maybe all that tough footy is finally catching up to him. To be fair, he will do whatever he needs to get back full health, and will be a bull once again. Have no doubt in that. Bleeds red and blue.
