Might be worth adding that we’ve kicked a few goals in quick time as well. -

We still really need to win both games to be assured of a spot in the grand final. -
I wouldn’t be relying on opposition injuries to help us win games. It doesn’t work that way. A few years ago now, we played Hawthorn in Round 1 and they had several of their top players missing. It didn’t help us at all. Besides, Danger off no previous game time had 12 disposals in the first quarter. If he manages to get up to play against us, he’s still the danger man.

Just heard the 3/4 time score which puts us 9 points up. Has the wind died or did Port step up? -

The one you missed from that list is Charlie Spargo who obviously is playing. That means our injured list is - Harmes, Lewis, Viney, Vandenberg, T McDonald, Neal-Bullen, McKenna, J Smith and possibly O Mac from Thursday night. -
The iconic footynewspaper is gone. In its later years, it belonged to SEN so my guess is that the paper is losing money and that this is Hutchy's doing.

Topic closed as it’s clearly not going to happen for JV by the opening round.

Pretty disappointing that the Casey Demons aren’t promoting themselves as a club. Their opponents tomorrow, Port Melbourne, have published their team on their website. Despite suffering from financial problems early last season, they regrouped and won the premiership. They have plenty of fans and they look after them too - which is one of the factors in the long term success of the club.

True - the sky’s falling.

While you blokes have been ranting on about nothing in particular, you’ve missed some major BREAKING NEWS. Eyes on the ball please.
-
Strange that because I arrived today and the sun’s shining. It’s not blue skies everywhere but there is sunshine.

Good omen ... in Coomera and just drove past Viney Park!!!

I’m up in sunny Queensland where the game starts at 6.05pm our time so I’ll know the result an hour before you guys ?. Do they have to reduce the squad or can they play eight interchange players?

Family Day 2018 Returns to the 'G (Sunday 4/3/18)
Whispering_Jack replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
There seemed to be more of the little kids there but less teenagers. Possibly a venue like Luna Park would appeal to them a bit more than the G. The club might look at possibly alternating the venue to cater for that crowd. -
It was a really terrific function and the players were very friendly and obligingly with the kids as far as autographs and photos were concerned. I was really impressed with Max Gawn and Jayden Hunt. Jake Lever is a really super impressive young man who will be a major plus for the club. He seems to have settled back well in Melbourne. Clayton Oliver looks really thin - I’d like to know how much weight he’s lost since midway through his last TAC Cup season.

Clarkson admits Hawks tanked at end of 2017

It’s all water under the bridge now but the only comment worthy of making is that agendas and double standards will always apply in AFL circles as they do in all forms of politics. -

AFLW: Rd 5 v. Brisbane @ Casey
Whispering_Jack replied to Demonland's topic in AFLW Melbourne Demons
I’m not normally one to question the decisions of an umpire <sarcasm meter on high> but I think if I get the chance at today’s family day, I might ask Maxy what he thinks about interference in ruck duels. Oh, and by the way, does anyone have any vision from last year’s game v St Kilda? -
