  3. The MFC welcomes a new indigenous player to the fold. I just hope that when he makes his debut for the club that we do better than Gold Coast on his debut with them - it was the game against Essendon at the Docklands when the Bombers kicked 15.4.94 to 0.1.1 in the first quarter.

  7. You can now discuss Jesse Hogan’s 2018 performance here.
  8. Off to Hawthorn.
  9. Deal done.
  10. Some crappy advertising on heavy rotation.
  11. The club has a high opinion of Harry Petty who was tossed to the wolves when not ready in his one AFL game against St Kilda. He was recruited as a key position defender who also played forward in his junior days. With Steven May coming to the club and Jake Lever set to return, it might be worth trying Petty up forward.
  12. Hello. Looks like it’s been a relatively quiet night tonight. People have somewhere to go or is this the calm before the storm?
  13. • The penultimate day of the trade period saw five players move clubs, with Gold Coast heavily involved. • The Suns lost midfielder Aaron Hall to North Melbourne for pick 68, a pick that was then traded to Adelaide for a future fourth round selection. • Pick 68 was then immediately on-traded by the Crows to Richmond for forward Tyson Stengle. • The Suns also traded away former top 10 draft pick Jack Scrimshaw to Hawthorn for an exchange of future selections. • Gold Coast landed Geelong defender George Horlin-Smith for pick 59. • Tom $cully officially became a Hawk, traded for a future fourth round selection (considerably cheaper than his original price almost a decade ago ?)
  14. Holey Moley. I’ve had a long, hard day at work and came out of a meeting to check up on what was going on in the world of Jesse Hogan and realised that today is no different to yesterday, the day before and the day before that ... Today must be GRANDHOGAN DAY!!!
  15. But Scully for a 3rd rounder is fair.
  16. Carlton and Gold Coast have used their mature age entitlements with the former trading theirs and GCS keeping them. McAdam is off to Adelaide while the Suns have taken Corbett. Nathan Krueger (South Adelaide) is off to the Cats. Chris Burgess (West Adelaide) and Sam Collins (Werribee) also join Gold Coast. There are still others around worth consideration.
  17. “Gold Coast and Melbourne should finalise a deal on Tuesday that sends Suns defender Kade Kolodjashnij to AAMI Park“. http://m.afl.com.au/news/2018-10-15/trade-wrap-eagles-stand-by-offer-for-kelly The suggestion confirms other reports that the deal for Kolodjashnij will be completed independently of any deal for Steven May.
  18. Fox Footy Channel Wednesday @ 7.00pm.
  19. • Two days remain in the AFL trade period and a few dominos still need to fall before the Wednesday night deadline. • The likes of Lachie Neale, Jesse Hogan, Steven May, Tom Scully, Dylan Shiel and Dayne Beams are all contracted players yet to land at their clubs of choice. • Collingwood however, re-signed defender Tom Langdon who turned down offers from Sydney and Fremantle to stay with the Magpies. • The Western Bulldogs got a trade done, bringing in Richmond forward Sam Lloyd for pick 64. • Carlton list boss Stephen Silvagni said his club remains open to trading pick one, should an enticing offer come their way. • With tomorrow the penultimate day of the Trade Period and with teams running out of time to get deals done, it is expected to be a busy one!
  20. Holey Moley. I’ve had a long, hard day at work and came out of a meeting to check up on what was going on in the world of Jesse Hogan and realised that today is no different to yesterday, the day before and the day before that ... Today must be GRANDHOGAN DAY!!!
  21. Didn’t Jake Spencer come from Townsville too?
  22. How does that happen when Hogan is contracted to the end of 2019?
  23. You did mention Jack Bytel’s injury history which has affected his draft credentials. His problem that he has a lingering back injury and has hardly played this season. You would need a good medical report to take him in the draft.
  24. I was reading this article in the Age, and if what Peter Ryan and Michael Gleeson are saying is correct (and both are highly respected in the industry) then it would be very hard to arrive at a different conclusion
  25. I hear that Scully arrived in Melbourne yesterday to tour Hawthorn’s facilities. Apparently told the media he was just “having a look around”.
