  1. My MFCSS is now reaching epic levels. What are we doing? If the list management team has established stars in its sights, then ok…but this now smells of a full scale rebuild, which does not align with the vision Guerra and King came to supporters with less than a week ago. An off season where we lose McVee, Tracc and Clarry and bring in mediocre picks will be just about the end for many supporters. Memberships already down 20%. If we are like Richmond, we will be back on the doldrums.
  2. Their first rounders will all be 14 + in weak drafts. Likely pick 20s. For context, that means three Koltyn Tholstrups or Matt Jeffersons. If that is what you think will turn our fortunes, then I guess we aren’t in the same page
  3. That is complete junk. By that time we will be struggling for wins, getting picks in who show promise and then request trades coz they are sick of losing? Sound familiar ? In what world is Trac worth second round picks?
  4. Well Adelaide don’t have good picks. Anything outside of 7 this year is no good at all. Next year’s pick likely to be pushed to 18-21 too from them. So unless we involve hawthorn or GC, we don’t get the pick capital the club has said it would accept.
  5. Cornes’ comments are moronic. He hates Green. Hates the MFC and never has anything positive to say. We have moved the coach. Appointed King. Are in the process of rejuvenating the list. He can [censored] off. St Kilda are nowhere near it and have moneyballed next season. They won’t win it and will be back to square one in no time.
  6. yeah, it was serious low footy IQ that play, and I saw him repeat it again this year. All he had to do against the Blues was stand the mark, or spoil...he completely overcommitted on the spoil...and lost his feet and we were gone.
  7. The majority of the season was played with crowds...including finals. I think we had three games without crowds.
  8. I don't think we can step back much further. I disagree that we will go backwards next year. That is of course determined by how we use the capital we receive in exchange for the players you mnetioned. Tracc stays unless its a very attractive offer. The same with May, but his departure concerns me less, knowing that Disco, Petty, T mac, Adams can all assume the defensive role. We are a huge watch this off season. We must make changes to improve, but must also bring in talent...not usless 2nd and 3rd round picks in a [censored] draft
  9. we have delisted 5 players. Likely to trade out three. Packaging up a bundle of picks seems like we will have a short list. Bringing in White (who won't be AFL ready for three years). Think we need players not moving up the draft order in what is supposedly the weakest draft in years
  10. What can we realistically expect in return for the trade? I don’t want [censored] picks. Make them give up a player and some picks.
  11. May and Lever the last players to fit that category..both had given several more years to their respective clubs. Would love to hear other examples
  12. Of course they showed the May and Gawn altercation…I’ll see myself to the Media Madness thread.
  13. Offering more than 2 years is a terrible call. Is his heart in it? Or, is he looking for a retirement fund? Has the potential to backfire big time. The bloke can be dangerous. He is also a seagull, who kicks a lot of goals getting out the back
  14. Surely not a straight swap...Flanders has potential but not nearly as credentialed as Tracc. Tracc to GC with our Pick 23, for Flanders and Pick 6. Done. Do it tomorrow
  15. amsuing that people still down't know that WCW has just had an identity change. lol. Thanks for the snags at Casey at the girls game by the way
  16. Spot on Clint...It is so apparent now that this is the way the AFL now operates
  17. The articles on Tracc are absolutely useless. None ever offer any decent ideas on what we mightaccept in a trade. Ralph's suggestions are completely laughable. Giving up a Norm Smith Medalist for a bag of chips in a [censored] draft...paaalleeeeeaassssse. The media are willing this to happen and it creates clicks. I am over the Petracca distraction though. Hre really has dragged the club through the mud. After all, "it's his (my) job". That statement tells me all. The Club itself means nothing to him anymore. He disrespects the fans. He once told us that a win was for everyone "who'd ever been embarrassed to wear the colours" - I've never been embarrassed of who I support..frustrated..not embarrassed. He is at fault in creating moments of embrassment though. His kicking is diabolical and cost us on many occasions. None more than the Carlton final. Just find a suitor and make it work for us. Do NOT entertain a fire dale.
  18. The price on Petracca is a top 10 pick this year and change. If no one is fronting up that, do not seek. The media are driving and willing this to happen and hoping we get shafted. It’s up to us to get value. It’s not a fire sale. The rhetoric from Morris and Ralph is absurd as usual
  19. The adjudication of holding the ball in the last was diabolical
  20. I called in and ripped McClure on AW this evening on my way home from work. Told him he would have slagged us if we’d hired Buckley and said it was a boat race. Said he now describes this a “shoddy” process, based on nothing other than his opinion. They then cut me off and gave no right to reply to his moronic response. Pleasingly, Lloyd and Bartel took it to him as well, following my call. He came out looking like a goose and then conceded it was just his opinion
  21. Kelly was also at Essendon for three years and they were not much chop. He walked into Geelong, who were already strong and were beaten by a more dominant force in 2021, us! He will not have the recruiting power that he had at Geelong. Their midfield is stacked and they continue to add to it every year. I'd be careful about attributing Geelong's success to assistant coaches.
  22. Great to see the media back at it. Carro describes the Goodwin sacking as ‘disgraceful’. All sympathy now for Goody, despite her calls for almost three years for him to be sacked due to the off field rumours. then, You read the Billings stuff, which Fox Footy have turned into another story of mistreatment. Painting the picture that he has been hard done by and giving the impression that no one knew about his delisting g until last night at dinner. FFS. The sticking in of the boot and vitriol in the media towards us is really next level.
  23. Doubt it. Too close to King’s Birthday
  24. Nice goal Tholstrup . Still reckon he will make it. Billings crapped his pants and fumbled on the wing. Typifies him as a player.
