  1. Ah, abuse, the last refuge of the ignorant.
  2. Poor awareness from Day. I think Ryder was stationary. Tim English did exactly the same last week.
  3. BBB suspended! There's something I never expected! In a perverse way I love it! All a part of a cunning, cunning plan to give Weed a block of matches to prove his worth.
  4. I think it is the physical nature of the game. He might be able to do it once but can't back it up in subsequent matches. He's not a bloke that thrives on physicality. He's almost a bit nice.
  5. No midfield can compare to ours. And no team can beat us defensively. Just get Salem and Petty fit and firing and we'll start blowing teams away. I would love Shae Bolton in my team though!
  6. They are having a red hot crack the Rooboys. Ziebell going forward an inspired move.
  7. Same move that resulted in May doing his hamstring last season. The umpiring this year really is scandalous.
  8. Horrible, home town umpiring.
  9. Cam Rayner has to be the most overrated player in the comp. Terrible first pick.
  10. May only has two tactics. Both are to the same side of the ground. 1. Long, down line to a ruck target, or 2. Short, 20-metre kick to pocket where recipient (smaller running player) looks to play on immediately and attack the corridor.
  11. Think Tomo's problem is overhead and defending the ball in the air. Petty should fix that. Smith is also superior in that facet of the game.
  12. May - Rock solid defence Harmes - Hard running + goals Petracca - 48% disposal efficiency? Jackson - Marks both ends Viney - Effective at clearances Lever - Quiet first game Spargo - Played his role Brayshaw - Solid and effective Gawn - Back in town Oliver - Not his best Langdon - One of our best Bowey - Much quieter tonight Tomlinson - Very, very quiet Jordon - Career best game? Rivers - Doesn't look 100% TMac - Hardly sighted Weide - Well blanketed Hunt - Bright start, faded ANB - Played his role Fritta - Leading goalkicker + chasing Sparrow - Some good clearances Kozzie - Only little glimpses
  13. Dominated most of the night. Defensively great. Max was BIT, back in town. No votes for Trac or Clarry but others stood up. Everyone played their role, did their bit. Take the win and look for avenge to last year's defeat by GWS in 10 days.
  14. Where's Jordon? Was amazing tonight.
  15. 6. Gawn 5. May 4. Jordon 3. Langdon 2. Harmes 1. Fritta (3 goals in 10.)
  16. Superb play. James Jordon is so unobtrusive but effective.
  17. Incredible Kozzy
  18. Max is back! Jordon great. Fritta classy. May great one on one. Jacko duking them. Would love to see Kozzy get on the end of a couple.
  19. Not a weak link on the ground. Bizarre comment.
  20. Jordon has been great. Get ruthless in front of goals and we'll be right...
  21. Questions were bang on the money, so kudos to all involved. Interviews like this are so much better than many in the mainstream media because the questions benefit the audience rather than benefit ratings or push a particular narrative.
  22. They'll come hard. Let's hope we withstand it and prosper.
  23. Here's hoping the Weed can back up last week's performance. Port have some pretty decent tall defenders in Jonas, McKenzie and Clurey. It'll be much tougher you'd imagine. Might be an evening Fritta snakes 🐍 his way back into the goals.
  24. Yep! Looks a very smooth mover,
  25. The Blues could cause us some trouble. Curnow is coming good and is excellent support for McKay. Cripps is back to his best and with Walsh, Cerra, Hewitt and Kennedy they have midfield depth.
