Not sure when when you are down 32 clearances for the game, a defender with ordinary disposal is going to help you.

The one thing with Ross Lyon coaching is you don't need a spectacular list. He has proven this time and time again. That game plan of relentless pressure on the ball carrier, all team defence and being harder for longer exposed a few of the DOgs.

Saints all of a sudden have a hard edge. Great for their supporters.

I have had enough of Harmes already. Not convinced he is AFL level despite playing well as a tagger before signing a ridiculous five year deal.

Was some filth in the first. Mainly clearance related. How the midfield fell apart like it did was bizarre. Hated Petty's game. Hated Harmes' game. Langdon is not the same player as 2021. Grundy tried hard but incredibly ineffective especially in the first. The bombing to a spare Lion was atrocious. Umpires were rubbish. Lever was great, again! Hunter had a crack. Spargo decent. BBB has 8 goals in 2 games.

Fagan likes Rich and Zorko to set up their attacks off half back. Shut down that and they got nothing.
