  1. We use the term “Gameday mascot” when referring to the kid who gets to run through the banner holding hands with a player. As for the adults in costumes who are mascots, I never take notice of their names. I just feel bad for them when it’s 30+ degrees and they can’t sneak a quick drink without taking the head off which would probs freak out little kids.
  2. “Booo! You left out Max!” — every 3-5yo Dees kid
  3. He missed too many leg days at the gym.
  4. whY oH WHy diD wE leT dOggA gO??! 🙄
  5. Not that I know of, Super. Plenty on the Gold Coast. Noosa is also popular. They’ll know they’re alive when they’re back in Melb for training on Sunday morning, a sunny and warm 6 degrees to welcome them back 😅
  6. Gee that’s something I’ve never been told before, ever. Oh, except for the bazillion times I’ve been told it by a small number of reprobates here. Never liked you in your previous incarnation. Dislike you even more in this current one. Aaaaaaand ignore
  7. The thread title alone annoys me. Wouldn’t bother opening the article. Geez Louise, we have a footy-less weekend and this is what’s brought up? And a Zero Hanger article at that. There’s a reason they have ‘Zero’ in their name.
  8. I too have not heard our players complaining about travelling, except on one occasion when one player wasn’t thrilled about flying to Alice but only because they shared the chartered plane with St. Kilda players.
  9. For those attending our Gold Coast match there’s this curtain raiser… It would be great to have as many folks in attendance as possible. The Casey boys need our support too ♥️💙
  10. I believe so, too. Then we can finally kiss goodbye the whole Melbourne has a bad culture thing. Kozzie just recommitted, our kids don’t regret being drafted by us (and just as importantly… nor do their parents) and Kalani shuns the GCS in favour of us. Surely that’s more than enough to dispel the rumours of a bad culture.
  11. Quite the challenge to get the players to take one shot at goal, let alone a thousand. Most of them are away on their break. Queensland seems to be the popular choice.
  12. Thank you, DZ ♥️💙
  13. So, have we all voted? Voting closes at 3pm on Thursday. Here’s the link again… VOTE NOW!!! After such a disheartening weekend it’s a welcome bright spot to have Kozzie listed as a GOTY nominee. It takes less than 30 seconds to vote. Why should you vote? The question really is, why shouldn’t you vote??? JUST VOTE! Note to the usual misery-mongers who go all 24 Hour Party People after a loss: Please take a 30-second break from partying like it’s 2013 to vote for our Koz. I’ll even attach a less cheery link for y’all… Vote for Kozzie even though it’s the end of the world TIA 😘
  14. VOTE FOR KOZZIE!!!
  15. What does “soft drop” mean?
  16. Nah one drink is more than enough for me. Can’t be nodding off on my flogger now can I?
  17. I’ve met them both and it’s no surprise they’re engaged in a civil debate 🙂
  18. Just ran into Kozzie in Rundle Mall. He’s looking very relaxed and says he’s pumped for today’s match. 🥳
  19. Me lead her astray?!!! It’s the other way around. Actually we’re as bad as each other. Luckily Scott Frittata - aka the sensible one - is here to rein us in 😅
  20. Dunno about you, @Dee in a Kilt but I’ve got my lucky socks on 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 I don’t have cufflinks but my Melky earrings should do the trick 😁
  21. I’m currently at the airport having a vodka and whatever with Pauline Fritta.. Look out Adelaide! Here we come!!!
  22. GAMEDAY!!! We go into this match knowing we almost beat Collingwood and that’s a ton of collective confidence right there. The Mighty Dees by my boy Luker (44pts) ♥️💙♥️💙♥️💙♥️💙♥️💙 GIVE ‘EM HELL DEES!!! ♥️💙♥️💙♥️💙♥️💙♥️💙
  23. Ugh it hadda be DOGga
  24. Kalani’s confidence growing before our eyes
  25. KAL AGAIN!!’ Son of a gun!
