  1. You’re right, it’s not a rational or logical decision. I made that point in reply to someone saying Goody has lost the players.
  2. I read all your posts in my best William Shatner. 😁
  3. You’ve clearly missed the point. The “5-minute logic” has nothing to do with having played at the highest level, or any level. It has nothing to do with the poster’s opinion, either. It has everything to do with former posters who’ve been banned, for example, and have returned under a new name. In this instance, the poster’s phrasing and syntax seem familiar to me. Please re-read my post and you’ll understand.
  4. You’ve got your own thread created for you purely to post your best 22s. Doesn’t that tell you how most Demonlanders feel about your best 22s?
  5. I blame Reece Conca. He’s great at his job but hey, why not add him to the firing line? I also blame Alyssa Bannan and Ari, the two people that organise the kids in the guard of honour. And we can throw in our mascots for good measure. And don’t get me started on that cheer squad of ours. PATHETIC, THE LOT OF ‘EM OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!
  6. Are we gonna have a new thread for every individual member of the coaching staff after yesterday’s loss? Instead, how about we put them all in the one thread and call it, for example, “Dees coaches are pathetic” 🙄🙄🙄
  7. Who are you? Seriously, who the [censored] are you? You’ve been here for five minutes and your posts are predominantly belligerent, which isn’t usual for someone who is relatively new to this site. You smack of someone who’s been here in another incarnation, an equally combative incarnation. Therefore please don’t interact with me in any capacity. Thanks in advance Incidentally, don’t preface a post with “With respect” then call someone delusional which is undeniably disrespectful. It makes you look stupid(er).
  8. Never said this.
  9. Except he DIDN’T lose the players last year. Nor has he lost them now. He likely won’t lose them anytime soon. This isn’t directed just at you but for anyone calling for Goody to be sacked… if he is sacked, it WON’T be because of how the players feel about him and that’s a fact. Also, call for his head all you like but be careful what you wish for. If Goody is sacked we may need to prepare for the absence of Clarrie and Kozzie coz make no mistake: he is like a father to them both. For those who will predictably say that’s not what coaching’s all about… you may be right. But what I’m telling you is right or wrong it will happen.
  10. Nibs left because he and in particular his partner needed to be close to their family for personal reasons. Nothing to do with Goody. Clarrie didn’t want to leave but met with Geelong when he heard that one person (who’s no longer at our club) was enquiring about a trade to Adelaide. Again, nothing to do with Goody. Tracc may have wanted to go at some stage, and If he did it was reportedly to be part of a bigger club and/or because of the mismanagement of his KB injury. Yet again, nothing to do with Goody. Kozzy wants to leave? If he did want to leave the reason would be homesickness as has been reported ad nauseam. Yep, you guessed it: nothing to do with Goody. Fritsch is sick of being there? In short… No, he’s not. Not only is he not sick of being there, he loves being there and doesn’t wanna be anywhere else. Nothing to do with Goody, nothing to do with anybody actually since it’s simply untrue.
  11. Bill Laurie has been pulled out of the Casey match and is heading to Marvel as an emergency
  12. Bill Laurie pulled from the match to be taken to Marvel as an emergency
  13. Beautiful night last night and the roof was closed. It was one big communal sauna. Had to go outside at the breaks coz it’s nice to be able to breathe unlabored. 🥵 Anyhoo that was last night. Today is a new day but yeah, the roof will still be closed 😅 We’ll be in aisle 1. Anyone with GA tickets please come and sit in aisles 2 & 3 so as to create a sea of red and blue. ❤️💙 The mighty Dees by Ricky Mentha III (39)!
  14. It’s worse than that: took my niece down to meet Catman and now I’m sitting in their cheer squad 😳
  15. I’m off to Marvel tonight with my niece who’s followed in my footsteps and declared her love for a team other than Carlton, except she goes for Geelong. 😭It’s me and her against the fam. 👊🏼 Now I have to pretend I want Geelong to win 🤢
  16. 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 ESSENDON 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 MASSIVE LOLZZZ 🤭
  17. It’s from you, so I KNOW it’s a compliment ❤️
  18. Marvel just announced that aisles (bays) 2 - 8 are general admission (Bourke St. end). Our cheer squad will be in aisle 1
  19. That Charles, who rarely smiles, actually laughed. Granted it wasn’t a guffaw, it was a little hehe, but it’s a laugh nonetheless.
  20. It actually is gaining traction. These things take time. I know you don’t approve of it because it’s Mitch Marsh’s nickname (different sport but whatevs) but it’ll catch on in time.
  21. I told him this, that Dwayne Russell kept calling him the Bull and he said, “Nooooooo!” Then he told me I need to tell the commentators it’s The Bison. He must think I have access to everyone, like I’m Andrew Dillon or something. 😂
  22. You really didn’t miss much. Some were only out there for 10 mins. Marty Hore, for example. He said it wasn’t worth putting his boots on since that took longer to do than the actual “training.” 😅
  23. The Bison wasn’t down in the dumps at all, despite greeting me with, “I was dropped.” He said he got good feedback from the coaches and that made him feel better. He said the decisions they make are always explained really well and because of that he’s not too down, and that he can’t wait to go again.
  24. Spargipants looked happy. Or, as happy as he can possibly look. He looked relaxed, too. The mood was very upbeat and playful.
  25. SpargiPants was coming across from the rooms with about a dozen or so of the boys and I greeted him with, “Hey Charles! Congratulations and good luck with your first game back!” He said, “Thanks.” Then I said, “Now don’t [censored] it up!” The boys all laughed, and while I don’t have photographic evidence to back it up… Charles laughed too! I do have witnesses though, which is good because who’s gonna believe it happened?
