I paid out on Kingy for only ever saying negative things about us. Then he started saying really good things about us. I hate it when that happens. 😂

He’s also signed with Casey. He couldn’t train with us until he did so. For a while he’d turn up to Gosch’s and just watch, now he participates.

Last night I spoke with an MFC staff member who introduced himself as “Matt, the new media guy.” I complimented him on the improvements of content, especially on the MFC website. Many are saying we’ll end up bottom four based on finishing 14th last season, coupled with believing everything they read/hear in the media. And why wouldn’t they, right? If this was any other club I’d probably form the same opinion. I reckon it’s great that us failing is widely expected: it lessens the pressure. Uhm… 43 degrees. Yes, those two extra degrees matter. Idk about y’all’s neck of the woods but here in the stabbing capital of Victoria it’s actually raining.

A friend sent me this but yeah he just asked that question. Another friend asked the question a couple of weeks ago and was told the same thing except the margin was 12 points. I’m happy with either of those results 😁

The banner (two identical banners that is, in case the elements wreck the first one) actually says “UNITED BY DEMON SPIRIT” which is great because we get to reuse them. Just need to rip the Fox logo off it.

Would love that but it won’t happen. They’ve said tomorrow so tomorrow it is. Mind you the ad is gonna feature a bunch of red-faced sweaty folks on the verge of passing out but clearly Fox Footy is ok with that. Oh and they’re shouting us pizzas, just in case our core temperatures aren’t high enough 😅

Didn’t know where to post this but wanted to share it, thought here’s as good as anywhere else. So, Fox Footy has asked us to make a full-sized banner (which we’re doing today) and they want us and our banner to feature in their main footy season promo. 🥳 🥳🥳 Thing is though, they’re filming it tomorrow outdoors (of course) and it’s gonna be 42 degrees. And because it’s supposed to look like we’re raising the banner during a match, they’ve requested we wear jumpers, beanies and scarves…. 42 degrees… FORTY TWO DEGREES Good times 😳

So did I !!!!!!! if I regain consciousness within 10 minutes after the final siren I’ll chalk that up as a win, or even a miracle!

Yeah finding the words is very hard. I haven’t watched any of the coverage yet, I’d forgotten it was on and I was watching the tennis. Got a text that just said “Neale, finally 💖” and I burst into tears. The relief was overwhelming.
