Yep, we were talking about that today. It will be tight but we’ll do it. Some will leave the M match early because we need a banner crew and guard of honour at Whitten Oval. Thank goodness it’s at Whitten Oval and not Casey. Even when we have to split in two we always have enough people and props for both. When Casey won the premiership in 2022 half of us were at Ikon and half were at Casey for the W match on that same day.

You know who I wanna see win? Injuries. I wanna see injuries win. Not life-threatening nor even career-ending injuries and not necessarily season-ending. Just injuries that will have Collingwood players sidelined for KB. Is that too much to ask?

This morning some of the players asked me if I’d be in Alice and/or said See you in Alice which made me sad coz I can’t go. They have a chartered flight there and Clarrie said I’m small enough to be squashed into the overhead compartment, then Sharpie said if he didn’t pack any belongings I could go in his backpack. I laughed… on the outside 😭

He was clearly taking a potty at me, unless there’s someone else on here who has shared what they’ve talked about with Ardu at training. Again, this is the very reason I no longer relay any conversations on this forum, apart from S&Gs. It’s so disheartening to read these thinly veiled accusations of fabrication (either I’m a liar, or Ardu is). I’m so over it.

Kozzie came off limping slightly. He popped painkillers and is fine according to Steve, one of the trainers.

The boys are out already. Half an hour earlier than planned. It looks as though it’s just the players who are flying to Alice. They’re flying out this arvo. Shane and AMW are already there. Vines is out there training with the others Hendo and Bill are here. Jai isn’t.

I hope the event attracts many people, Deeves. The NSW Demons sponsor Jeffo and that’s not cheap, and they’re his only sponsor. It’s hard for them to organise events being that they’re not In Vic so I hope it’s a success. Kelly’s a great guy and he’d have a lot of interesting things to talk about.
