  1. We had elite pressure that entire quarter…
  2. Fritta, Sparrow and Langdon all deserve credit on that one
  3. It’s genuinely remarkable how [censored] Trac is at kicking the ball
  4. Juddy not doing his management any favours in their negotiating leverage so far here…
  5. First game at the MCG this year that I can’t make it to. Someone please toss out an extra few quality cusses in my stead.
  6. Impressed by Noah Yze
  7. Great tackle from Kynan. No clue what the umpires saw there.
  8. I mean no offence but they also do it because they make money off of it. Some of their content is even paywalled. I’ve listened to them occasionally because I appreciate having more Dees content outside of the Demonland pod, but there is a lack of substance or meaningful analysis in many of the Deebrief’s conversations. They often just waffle on without providing any interesting or thoughtful insights. I’m sure many folks just want that very basic Dees content and that’s totally fine—any Dees content from fellow supporters is better than none, but my preference is to feel like I’m learning something or being provided with info, ideas, or analysis that hadn’t occurred to me if I’m going to take the time to listen.
  9. Commentators and the umps in a back and forth battle to determine who can kiss N Daicos’ [censored] more
  10. Well this is so much fun
  11. I appreciated the presser too. But I didn’t think of not mentioning Clarry as a commentary on him or his play, rather he’s only 27 and the other guys are all a bit older.
  12. See I pretend I don’t care for 6 days of the week and then we actually play and I find some reason to have hope and then it becomes clear I still do care and then I inevitably end up miserable and furious.
  13. Jeffo needs to hit the [censored] weight room
  14. Since we’re probably losing my 50–some silver linings: -Roo looks confident again -Koz is Koz -Rivers has been awesome -Disco is fantastic
  15. Hey we’ll always have those incredible 10 minutes at the start of the 2nd quarter…
  16. This team gives me whiplash.
  17. I’m glad it finally helped us but these protected area calls are a flaw in the game and currently so confusing the players don’t even understand them.
  18. If it’s not one thing it’s the other. Every week.
  19. Good effort from us. Umpiring weird but not appalling so far.
  20. Yes, this GW bloke we keep talking about seems to have the both very cool privilege and the sometimes wicked curse of knowing the players personally and, in many cases, their loved ones too. It’s easy for a lot of us to sit here and chat [censored] about these players all day because we just see them once a week on TV and they’re just highly paid athletes blah blah blah. After Kolt kicked that shocker straight to a GC player I believe I referred to him to my partner as “a curly headed moron.” But I imagine that if you sat and talked to these guys, their mums, or spent time around their partners and kids, they immediately become real people to you—and sitting on Demonland watching us launch personal attacks at people you know in many cases to be good men who are doing their best would be absolutely infuriating.
  21. Come to think of it it’s probably Kolt and/or Charlie Spargo and/or Harry Petty that’s responsible for the Monday soccer at training.
  22. Isn’t that kind of what St. Kilda have been doing and everyone is criticising them for it?
  23. Oh—apologies I misunderstood! Yeah…we’re cooked.
