  1. If this doesn’t work out and Trac goes for picks, I can’t decide whether I’ll feel bad for the new MFC regime or if I’ll be annoyed with them. I get that our plummeting membership numbers these last two years make it financially unviable to come out and say we’re doing a rebuild and that finals aren’t feasible. But coming out and fully saying that finals are the expectation only to then turn around and ship out two of our most significant players for (potentially) only picks is…not great.
  2. Boy, who are the “happy clappers” now?
  3. “We were going to go through with the trade, but then we heard there’s a fella who occasionally shared bits of info with a bunch of footy nerds on an internet forum…”
  4. Has anyone told BH that he would have the privilege of being featured on the Demon Dash if he comes to us?
  5. PF you changed your username???
  6. “We need more clicks, is there an easy way we can we increase engagement with the biggest club in the country, who also happen to have the most gullible supporters in the country?”
  7. I politely reject your suggestion as I have the patience of a toddler. I will continue irrationally checking this thread every hour or so for the next 9 days in hopes that something will have happened.
  8. I think someone mentioned it a few days ago but aren’t St Kilda and Gold Coast not on the best terms atm given the whole “nepo babies” thing? Wouldn’t be surprised if GC try to screw them over
  9. I mean…and we have the player they want…
  10. I don’t think that’s necessarily true. The reporting on the Clarry situation was that if he stayed, he would no longer be in the midfield. And I’m guessing if still around Trac would play forward most of the time. But the broader reality is they’re both going to leave and we’re simply trying to keep leverage by saying we’d keep them around. And I’m sure that’s being communicated to players we hope to bring in and their managers.
  11. No, sorry, that won’t work for us. Please reconsider.
  12. I mean, even when someone isn’t struggling it’s still bizarre to stalk them. If I was at the airport trying to get organised for a flight and some moron was following me around with a camera trying to get me to answer questions it would take all of my self restraint not to punch him in the mouth.
  13. He said he’s going to Sydney and then America on holiday?!?!? Sam McClure soon to report that Clarry is likely meeting with the Los Angeles Rams to explore the possibility of a code switch??? Huge news.
  14. So we’re all having an incredibly productive day at work today, huh?
  15. Whoa what’re you selling at your garage sales that people are so desperate that they’re calling you to come early??? I’n curious…I might need to swing by your next one, but I’m busy Saturday. Can I actually come by today and have a look?
  16. I used to be an actual journalist. AFL rumour mongers are not actual journalists and are 100% not verifying their information through multiple sources.
  17. I continue to find the whole “he will choose where he wants to go” the most irritating and absurd aspect of the AFL trade stuff. We’ve all said it a million times on this forum. This guy is under contract for 4 more years. He signed a contract. He is making millions of dollars. If he wants to request a trade, fine. But the idea that players under contract get to decide on where they go, which immediately ruins MFC’s ability to create competition amongst clubs in order to get the best possible return, is absolutely insane.
  18. I’d like to take this moment to submit myself for the award for worst prediction of the year 2025: In a state of serious post-victory euphoria (might’ve been Brisbane or Sydney) I suggested on this forum that Trac looked the likely next captain and Kolt could be considered for vice captain… Whoops…
  19. Look, I didn’t want to have to do this, but it is time to take a stand. If Trac leaves I’m gonna have no choice but to unfollow OnTrac5 and find a new purveyor of quick, easy, high protein weeknight dinner recipes. It hurts me, but if Trac is no longer a Demon I simply cannot and will not support his chicken fajitas or pesto chicken flatbreads anymore. (Thank you for your attention to this matter)
  20. I’ll take it as you being a sexist moron. Thanks buddy.
  21. Boy, the [censored] are out in full force on this thread, huh. I’m just bummed we’re losing another young, promising player.
  22. I know everyone says the same thing every year, but I hate that the umps, who showed us all season long that they’re blind as bats, determine who wins the most prestigious award in footy.
  23. The Collingwood chants with an opposing player down injured gave me 2023 PTSD. Scumbags.
