  1. Gothard was at least 21 in ‘rookie me’ https://central.rookieme.com/afl/2023/11/20/rookie-me-centrals-2023-phantom-afl-draft/ Rowston was 19 in the espn phantom draft. All of the above picks are with 5-10… you are expecting Nairn to go almost 15 spots higher than anyone has him?
  2. Fritsch was pick 31 not top 10
  3. But he has put out his top 20 rankings which essentially mirrors the draft. I’ll be surprised if someone he rates as 25 two days ago gets picked ten 2 days later
  4. In case you didn’t understand what I was saying, nairn isn’t in anyone’s top 20 phantom draft. Pickett was 13th in espn ESPN.comEvery club, every pick: ESPN's full AFL phantom draftThe 2019 draft is on our doorstep, and ESPN expert Chris Doerre has analysed all the possibilities to expand his phantom draft from the first pick to the very last.
  5. Pickett, Windsor and Jackson were all ragged top 20 in every draft. Stop rewriting history
  6. He is rated in the mid 20’s. Not one phantom draft has him in the top 10
  7. It’s like im living in an alternative universe. Cal Twomey has had an almost 100% rate for years now. That’s even up to the top 20. Very rarely will a pick touted for 25 land in the top 10. Im starting to think dees supporters have had a lobotomy
  8. Then why up until yesterday cals draft had him at pick 25
  9. Can you send me your phantom draft from last year and multiple you tube videos breaking down every player?
  10. This is now becoming comical. Why would Melbourne pick Nairn with pick 8 when no one has him lower than pick 25?
  11. I’ll say this again..: not one afl phantom draft has Nairn in the top 20… these phantom drafts are almost 100% accurate to at least the top 15. Go back the last 10 years and very rarely will there be an exception.
  12. How far from Melbourne are you?
  13. We aren’t picking nairn for picks 7 and 8. He isn’t in any phantom draft top 20 let alone top 10
  14. You are wrong.::
  15. When was a biscuit ever called a scone?
  16. First I’ve hear of Nairn anywhere near the top 20. He looks good but I think there are better options in the top 10
  17. Would be a good get at what will be our pick 10. Solid midfielder that knows how to get the pill. Needs to clean up his disposal but plenty of times still is able to find the loose team mate.
  18. Oxdee replied to adonski's topic in Melbourne Demons
Agree.. he is a top 3 pick. If we get him for 7 it’s a steal
  19. Oxdee replied to adonski's topic in Melbourne Demons
Which Brisbane or Geelong players play this role?
  20. Oxdee replied to adonski's topic in Melbourne Demons
Nick Martin is horrible by foot as in NWM. Also, the way teams break lines is by foot not by running like maniacs trying to outrun everyone
  21. Oxdee replied to adonski's topic in Melbourne Demons
It’s 2 different roles and almost doesn’t exist in the afl. Those that break lines are traditionally average kicks and make poor decisions. His direct 30m kicks is what breaks lines.
  22. Oxdee replied to adonski's topic in Melbourne Demons
Jasper fletcher plays a defensive distributor role fairly well.. isn’t a contested player and averages less than 2 tackles a game
  23. Oxdee replied to adonski's topic in Melbourne Demons
He plays a role as a distributed off half back. He isn’t meant to be a contested bull
  24. Oxdee replied to adonski's topic in Melbourne Demons
He is in the top 3 of this draft. If we pick him up at 7-8 it will be a steal. No other player in the draft comes close to having his ability by foot which is now how the game is played. Is exactly what we need off half back and through the middle. Him and dovatson are the duo we should pick
  25. Dovatson has to be a top 5 talent. He is exactly what Melbourne needs. Quick, good by foot, tenacious and superb footy smarts. He will be better than Watson as he has more potential to play a multitude of positions including off half back. He is also taller and stronger with a solid core. Will be a steal at pick 7 or 8.
