Yes, that was Bailey's point -- Jamie's efforts from the first few seconds of the game right through to the last few seconds. Clearly, Bailey was pleased to note that the same guy who was giving his all at the start was still giving everything with the siren just seconds away, and a big victory already in the bag. I read that as him implying that was the type of effort that will see the MFC continue to repeat Sunday's effort on a more regular basis.

Was great to see Joel play so well yesterday, following up from his great game over West last week. I shall be at the Gabba next Saturday night, and very much looking forward to Joel letting the Lions know what a dumb move it was to let him go! Up and running, this guy really is a class act off the half back line. He's tough, relentless and uncompromising. Great article about him today on the FC website, too. The guy is very happy to be a Dee. Unlike some other posters over the past few months, I think this guy was an excellent pickup in the pre-season. Looking forward to bellowing out the "Grand Old Flag" around 9:30pm next Saturday night from high up in Section 66 of the Gabba! Go Dees!

Agreed. If he can just put together consistent games like yesterday's, we would all be singing his praises! Saw him in the flesh when he played for Casey at Southport couple of months back, and only then realised how BIG this guy is. He dwarfed everyone else on the ground! Stinkin' Channel 7 have stolen the early game to televise today (Foxtel's coverage), instead of the 2pm game which they are supposed to show. Usually when this garbage happens, Foxtel shows the 2pm game on Main Event. Not today, folks!!!! I am NOT impressed! Will have to content myself with audio feed of the game from one of the radio stations, via internet. Replay not until 7:30pm on Foxtel. Did I happen to say I hate Channel 7 and their arrogant approach to their broadcast rights??!!!!!! We deserve better!

I have seen nothing about the whereabouts of MacDonald & McNamara last weekend. They didn't play with Casey, even though I think both were in Casey's best players the previous week. And, neither have been on the Club's official injury list. Does anyone know what the story is with these two?

Tarzan, do you know this for a fact? Or, is it just your opinion? If the latter, would be best if you state it as such. Certainly hope it is not fact...
