Lots of ice cream and lots of malt...LOTS of ice cream thick as ten bricks milkshake!!

The Pancake Parlour is infamous for its stupid prices, and their milkshakes are no exception. Their milkshake is called the "swiss mountain malt" and current online menu has it at $13.90...so not quite twenty bucks but close enough to make it a very silly price. I think you're probably paying five or six bucks for that name alone haha don't get me wrong though, absolutely great milkshake, probably should be about half the price though which goes for just about their whole menu. EDIT: The only time we'd get one of these was at the 24 hour Pancake Parlour in Doncaster in the wee morning hours after a night out before heading home.

Just wanted to start a birthday thread in honor of such a big important reliable part of our club, the milkshake himself, Mr. Jake Melksham! Go get yourself a milkshake today to celebrate this birthday. Couple of things, first of all our team would just not be a shadow of what it is leading into finals this year without the Milkshake, and that isn't just being said because of what has happened but has been a genuine thought all season before and after he made it into the best 22 (I always thought he should be in there). He is the x-factor and provides grit, reliability, an elite kick for goal (especially the bananas), and just such a positive professional attitude and vibe for the whole team and has really made our forward line look like a forward line. So happy birthday Jake, despite this terrible news we are all super fans of what you've done for our club this year and we know we wouldn't be where we are without you on the field. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that I'd love nothing more than to see you recover well and get back on the field and kick some more bananas from the boundary!! If anyone can do it, you can!! Also what are people's favorite milkshake flavors? Mine is vanilla malt...can't beat it!!! Best are those big milkshakes they used to have at the pancake parlor, haven't been in there for years but damn they were good, even if they cost you about twenty bucks worth every cent. Get better Milkshake, we hope the footy gods smile and we see you in the red and blue once again.

Definitely would not have made 4th without the Milkshake, he has been the difference between wins so many times, he is the grit!

So devastated, really love this guy he's gotta be top five most important players in the whole team coming into finals. Shocking luck, and in a game that didn't really matter too, what a load of [censored]. Does not deserve this. So sad and wishing him all the best for his birthday and a hopefully speedy recovery. Shocking stuff, love the Milkshake, always been a fan he has really galvanized the whole team this year anything that happens we owe it to him just as much as anyone.

God I hope it's nothing too serious, he's been a fan favorite of mine for a few years now. Just such a great positive vibe and attitude towards the game and always looks like he tries more than anyone else out there, never gives up...DON'T GIVE UP MILKSHAKE NEVER GIVE UP NEVER SURRENDERRRRRRRRR

I hate this, getting Fritsch back was really exciting because I wanted to see him play alongside Milkshake, hopefully we haven't seen the end of that combo because I think it'll be a bingo!

I reckon Grundy vs his old club could be a winner, maybe he will fire up...

Genuinely become one of my favourite players and one of our most important if we’re to have a real shot this year. No one deserves to play finals more than him this year, no one! He has been the difference so many times now and this will be so sad if it’s serious, for so many reasons, but mostly for him to miss playing finals which he was instrumental in getting us into. I know a team is more than one player, but we will struggle without the Milkshake.

Unless Lions lose too...GO SAINTS!! Sorry, I am dees through and through but would love to see Saints rip them at the Gabba I think that'd make most people pretty happy.

Was excited to see Schache in haha he didn't do a lot but still excited, not sure why, my neighbor doesn't rate him much. Fritsch comes in, Laurie out, leave Tommo down back we win with him there he needs to stay. Maybe Tmac for Schache and then Chandler the sub? He'd be a good sub, or Smith back to sub even...would be wary of Tmac being able to be effective for the whole game but just because he hasn't played AFL for a while. Great if he can turn it on!

Who's going to be our sub? Maybe Grundy...imagine that! (I know, probably Spargo or JJ, how uninspiring)

ABsolutely love having Grundy alongside Max for so many reasons, makes me feel safe at night, wish we could keep him he's a bit of a gun even if Max is more of a gun I hope they do something to keep him. I think him and Max sharing the role properly (Grundy main ruck some games) then it will prolong Max's ruck and fitness life and get Grundy into more games, just not sure if he'd be up for it.

I know it hasn’t worked that well, but I love seeing Grundy in the team and I’d love to keep him. Great ruck and a good footballer. I reckon it’d eventually click, or maybe it’s a surprise for finals who knows.

Anyone think Schache might get a nod? Wouldn't have thought so but he's on the extended bench so you never know...

I think Milkshake deserves to stay from the massive influence he's had in games to date, I want to see him playing alongside Fritta somehow, Milkshake is an x-factor and we need a bit of that in our team I think he's very important. If he slumps then sure he might need to come out, but he deserves to keep his spot for a bit.

Should have been a goal...but so should those two behinds JVR kicked and Joel Smith's set shot inside 50...any one of them would have made the difference. Still think that system is either used to get a definite result, or don't use it at all, as if we can't get better tech in this day and age it's pretty silly.

Does Hunter have a right foot or is is fake? I want to see Dunstan on the field, I know VFL isn't a good barometer for AFL but he's consistently killing it isn't he? Love Grundy, but it didn't really work. I seriously wouldn't care if we brought in Schache or Jefferson at this stage just get someone tall in there who is a forward and can make some kind of target of themselves. Shame Tmac didn't go too well in VFL. Really not sure about Hunter and keeping him in, interesting he's been able to hold on to his spot all year, JJ also not sure. Bring back Taj !!

Surely playing the Matildas will distract the players too...is it going to be up on a big screen in the stadium while the AFL game is being played is that what's happening? If I was a player I'd be looking up checking the game heaps haha Awesome they're playing the game at the same time, just curious how it will be shown.

I just want to see Smith back as sub because he was an amazing sub, Oliver for Harmes, Tomlinson for Smith and send down back, Grundy for Petty and just give it a shot again. Plays forward, doesn't interrupt Gawn's game, is second ruck, how bad can it be he's a pretty decent footballer...just hope he can kick straight!

Is Schache even a consideration? What's he like now? Him vs BBB what's the consensus?
