I for one hope like hell Grundy comes in, just don't make Max change his game, Grundy does what Jackson used to do and you know what, he's a quality footballer too and can still move well enough and he should be in there. Makes sense, second ruck, can still kind of play like a big mid fielder, c'mon stop the haters Grundy is great he's just had a bunch of crappy games but did we lose those games because of the ruck? Or because we just played a bit [censored] and couldn't kick goals hmmm?

Hibberd was decent, gotta bring Tomo in though. I thought Smith was good up forward, the whole forward line was pretty rubbish though and just bombing it in was [censored] and predictable. Grundy in for JVR, then if Tmac out bring in Schache, he's a good kick and can't hurt, at least Tmac did something but just looked too slow (the whole team looked a bit slow to be honest). JVR needs to grow up. Spargo or JJ for Brayshaw, the other one a sub instead of Laurie, maybe Taj too he was pretty good when he played. I hope they practice their kicking again before next match, that was hard to watch.

Never underestimated how big a deal that was, it was always a massive out for us and the season. He would have helped us win!

What exactly are the guidelines can you elaborate please? Does it say you just can't play AFL listed players come finals? Surely not, I remember a few of them playing in the VFL granny last year.

He has been amazing, and I know he's not a mid but damn I reckon he'd be a dark horse in the rising star race (probably won't get it but definitely would be deserving). Absolute gun, played every game and been excellent!

The Pancake Parlour is infamous for its stupid prices, and their milkshakes are no exception. Their milkshake is called the "swiss mountain malt" and current online menu has it at $13.90...so not quite twenty bucks but close enough to make it a very silly price. I think you're probably paying five or six bucks for that name alone haha don't get me wrong though, absolutely great milkshake, probably should be about half the price though which goes for just about their whole menu. EDIT: The only time we'd get one of these was at the 24 hour Pancake Parlour in Doncaster in the wee morning hours after a night out before heading home.

Just wanted to start a birthday thread in honor of such a big important reliable part of our club, the milkshake himself, Mr. Jake Melksham! Go get yourself a milkshake today to celebrate this birthday. Couple of things, first of all our team would just not be a shadow of what it is leading into finals this year without the Milkshake, and that isn't just being said because of what has happened but has been a genuine thought all season before and after he made it into the best 22 (I always thought he should be in there). He is the x-factor and provides grit, reliability, an elite kick for goal (especially the bananas), and just such a positive professional attitude and vibe for the whole team and has really made our forward line look like a forward line. So happy birthday Jake, despite this terrible news we are all super fans of what you've done for our club this year and we know we wouldn't be where we are without you on the field. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that I'd love nothing more than to see you recover well and get back on the field and kick some more bananas from the boundary!! If anyone can do it, you can!! Also what are people's favorite milkshake flavors? Mine is vanilla malt...can't beat it!!! Best are those big milkshakes they used to have at the pancake parlor, haven't been in there for years but damn they were good, even if they cost you about twenty bucks worth every cent. Definitely would not have made 4th without the Milkshake, he has been the difference between wins so many times, he is the grit!

Shocking luck, and in a game that didn't really matter too, what a load of [censored]. Does not deserve this. So sad and wishing him all the best for his birthday and a hopefully speedy recovery.
