Trac is top five player in the whole league, glad he's staying, got to back him in because he is a difference maker and if/when he gets back to full health we want him playing for us not someone else. Let's just hope the club sorts itself out because I have no doubts that's just what he wanted anyway and maybe this was a way to kick it all into gear, who knows, but it will be galvanizing for the players and the club to make things right.

Max is the best captain by a country mile. Now and going forward. If he doesn’t want it that’s different if he’s just had enough, but he is an amazing captain and we should be so lucky to keep him on as captain. He’s a true leader in every way!

I agree it is positive, just wouldn’t mind seeing some adaptive game plans and, perhaps some more exciting interesting fun watchable footy wouldn’t go astray. I’m sure he has it in him and occasionally we see something we like I guess. Perhaps patience is required from us fans

Hawthorn also have a very good coach that seems to be very well liked and trusted by everyone. I’m sure that goes a long way. Now I love what Goody has done for the club and I know the players like him, but cmon let’s deal with the elephant in the room I just can’t see that kind of work being done by Goody like what Sam Mitchel has done to attract players and sell them success. Everyone knows what Goody will do, boring defensive game play, it needs to change big time because the dees supporters need this change to get interested again too!!

Clubs and AFL need to take the power back…need to be able to trade players against their consent this situation is out of hand and contracts must mean something…but if they don’t, clubs need to get in on that too. Make the players think a bit more before being brats.

So what if Reid is meant to stay somewhere for a period of time, I think we’ve all seen those rules and contracts mean sweet FA. personally I’d be much happier if the AFL just came out and said “that’s it, all contracts can not be broken, end of story”.
