I agree it is positive, just wouldn’t mind seeing some adaptive game plans and, perhaps some more exciting interesting fun watchable footy wouldn’t go astray. I’m sure he has it in him and occasionally we see something we like I guess. Perhaps patience is required from us fans

I’m not sure I categorise this as social media. This is a discussion forum where people with a common interest come to discuss things and share news etc. not just a social media free for all where everyone just wants to get likes and tell other people stuff they aren’t interested in ever like how good their fancy lunch looked. No sir DL is definitely not social media, it is very specific watering hole type online place that actually has a purpose. I take your point though, if I had it my way there would be no internet and the world sound be a better place. Humans just can’t handle so much choice and information.

Hawthorn also have a very good coach that seems to be very well liked and trusted by everyone. I’m sure that goes a long way. Now I love what Goody has done for the club and I know the players like him, but cmon let’s deal with the elephant in the room I just can’t see that kind of work being done by Goody like what Sam Mitchel has done to attract players and sell them success. Everyone knows what Goody will do, boring defensive game play, it needs to change big time because the dees supporters need this change to get interested again too!!

Clubs and AFL need to take the power back…need to be able to trade players against their consent this situation is out of hand and contracts must mean something…but if they don’t, clubs need to get in on that too. Make the players think a bit more before being brats.

I’m sorry but anyone wanting to be an influencer of any kind really needs to get a life. That word just makes my blood boil, like it’s actually a thing. If he does that surely we just dig our heels in and say "guess what mate, we can't get what we need for you so you're not going anywhere and if you don't come to the table we'll stick you in the VFL and leave you there". Surely Petracca won't do that, but if he does and goes full child, then he must be treated like a child. Go sit in the corner and think about what you've done until your cortisol levels dissipate and then when you're ready to talk we will be here for you. I’m sorry but anyone that is defending Petracca for all the trauma etc has a bit of a point, but on reflection that will only go so far. He’s behaving like a child and turning on the club ad his own football family for what can only be described as selfish idiotic frivolous reasons. He’s being paid millions of dollars to be a professional footballer, who cares about your brand whatever that even is, it is not part of your multi million dollar contract. Grow up, stop treating your own club and mates like [censored] just because you’re going through a tough time, don’t just run away from problems they will follow you where ever you go because guess what Petracca, everywhere and everyone has problems. You deal with them when they come up and then get on with life. It’s called being a grown up. You’re a footballer and a damn good one. The only people who give a [censored] about your brand are the same people that will dump you and move on to the next flavour of the month just as quickly. We all get you’re having a tough time, a really really tough time, but don’t run from it deal with it properly or you’ll never be at peace. No one or nothing is perfect, everything is flawed in one way or another, it’s what makes us all human. Grow up, take it on the chin, everyone will say sorry for being silly and we can all get on with life like adults. What a great idea :)
