He can either get on the bus with the rest of the team, or he can get out, and go somewhere else, knowing that he will miss out on any shared success to come. It would be great for Trac to stay, but the club can’t worry about losing players. Even the best players are just threads in the culture of good teams and clubs. Ask Buddy about leaving for more success elsewhere.

GC are full of high picks – but no culture. Players will come and go, as long as the standards and culture remain strong, success will continue.

I would love to see Hardwick finish 9th for the next few years.

Fullarton should be permanent forward, not 90% ruck. That’s where he does his best work. He has 5 hitouts halfway through Q4. At least in netball the opposition only get given the ball half of the time.

Looked like we almost beat one of the form teams of the last month. Broke pretty close to even with clearances against the “best midfield” (apparently) in the comp. Thought Max lifted everyone - you could feel the heat from him, Jack and Kozzie A couple of moments that they would want again but the game was there for the taking. Annoyed we couldn’t see it through. Can’t see anyone being rested now. They will get an extended break soon. Max will rest when he’s dead /retired.
