You attacked my post several weeks ago about MFC not lobbying the AFL re the Cattery and Tasmania absurdity. You said lobbying is nonesense or something like that. Now youre delighted Kate Rofey lobbied the AFL against going to Mordor and succeeded. I told you. LOL.

Hard not to be paranoid when observing the behaviour of the circus clowns in the media and AFL hypocrites. The two MFC games released are both interstate........of course. Add on NT and likely Norff in Tasmania that makes for maybe 8 or 9 interstate games. This draw could get ugly tomorrow.

So dees play back to back H&A games at the SCG vSwans. Wouldnt surprise me. We recently played 2 H&A games at the Gabba in 3 rounds . Any confirmation yet on what round we get flicked down to the Cattery?

No way any Melb player gets off for the same high impact. Pickett got 2 weeks for crashing into Bailey Smiths torso only in R1. Smith got straight back up and ran off and played a decent game for the doggies from memory. Brayshaw was unconcious and stretchered off with medical staff after high head impact. Maynard cleared to play.

Collingwood never plays at Geelong and Carlton and Essendon rarely venture down to that hell hole. Essendon went there for the first time in years and it started their downfall in '23. Wont see them down there again. Melbourne get sent there almost every year so we're carrying those teams not to mention serious injuries to our key players. No umpiring academy so the game is umpired by weekend circus clowns. Goal review cameras basically obsolete junk that Radio Shack wouldnt stock. VFL scheduling is a mess often with emergency players unable to play at either level. Players from big clubs protected by the rigged AFL tribunal. Recent examples...Cripps v lions and Maynard in QF. He was never going to be suspended. JVR May or Pickett would of got 4-6 weeks. AFL is run by amateurs propped up by their own ilk...the media. Next year Dillon will be celebrated as a great new administrator. Tricky Gil should never have restarted AFL season in 2020. No praise from me. Crammed 17 rounds into a short period of time with 16 minute quarters and absurd scheduling. Suited older sides like Geelong beautifully. Scott was overcome with joy but still managed to lose GF. Whats the point of the Gather Round? Its an additional 9 games of mostly dull non marquis games played in a small Aussie rules state. Whats it promoting? The Gather Round should be played in NSW and Qld if at all. Its a free lunch for Port and Crows getting an additional home game. I expect the Crows to finish deep inside the eight next year. MFC better have a big pre season.

Yes we drew the short straw next season but that is so predictable. I said on DL a few months back we will play Crows or Port next season in Gather Round. Its so predictable. Last year Collingwood got 10 days break before Gather round. We got 6 and we lost. Will lowly Hawthorn play at the Cattery. Theyre well overdue but will they? We'll know soon enough. The AFL is such a mess the umpires will probably even up the score for Crows home games next year. If Tex is 'on form' again the Crows should finish top 4. No sympathy from me for Crows being robbed after kicking 2.8 in the last quarter. Swans went to sleep after 3 qtr time. The kick for goal shouldnt of mattered. Game should of been well over by then.

Check out the last 2 minutes of the Adelaide Crows v Fitzroy game back around 1991. Probably the most incompetent bias umpiring in the history of aussie rules. Makes you glad the goal umpire stuffed up the Crows chance of playing in this years finals. They could have gone deep in Sept considering how things panned out.

Watched a replay of the 1970 GF a few weeks ago. Only one umpire on the ground ;Jolley. Very fast moving rugged entertaining game. Miles better than the slops that get served up almost weekly thesedays. Jolley managed to keep up most of the time although he did show alot of love for the bluebaggers in the 3rd. Too many umpires on the ground. 3 is more than enough and replace the useless goal line cameras? They wont and i suspect Carlton and Filth will get alot of love from the umpires in 24.

MFC logo should be above the sponsor's with AFL alongside. Doesnt matter. Atleast they got the colours right. I cant stand the poxy light blue variant for away games. Totally unnecessary as sides often play as the 'away' team or neutral for their home games. I hope Dillon scraps the stupid theme jumpers. They look ridiculous. He wont.
