  1. The players we target in drafts vs what we actually end up getting is grim reading. We wanted Humphrey desperately in 2022, threw multiple firsts at the Essendon pick, ended up with Jefferson. 2018 we threw up a future first rounder at Port’s pick to grab Zak Butters. 2020 we targeted Holmes with the Laurie pick. 2021 it was Wilmot with the JVR pick. 2023 we tried to get up from the Windsor pick to Watson. Fine margins, big repercussions, imagine if a couple of those players were on our list right now!
  2. Don’t want that W⚓️ back
  3. Gold Coast walk away then. It’s not going to be a straight swap
  4. We’ll soon learn how keen we are on Humphrey. Could throw GC an offer they can’t refuse.
  5. Been pretty spot on this trade period hasn’t he? There’s a hundred nuffies on here that laugh and roll their eyes at initial trade reports re Trac and Clarry and they’ve all been true?
  6. Well taking them in the first round hasn’t exactly worked out for us has it? Weideman , Jefferson, JVR. Time to mix the strategy up. Kentfield looks better than them and he’s a rookie pick. I’m just saying, it’s a hard position to nail, hard to get a gauge on that type of player at 18. Instead of bundling all our second and third round picks up, id like to see us just take a shot at one in the 30’s or 40’s. Even just look at last year, Jobe Shanahan at pick 30, he looks a beauty, they’re there !
  7. THIS IS ALL JUST A MEDIA BEAT UP ! OLIVER AND PETRACCA ARE HEROES! THE MEDIA IS JUST A LIE !
  8. Surely the FD can see this? Don’t hit us with this ‘we’re so excited about our young forward line’ garbage when (unfortunately) this kid can’t even take a mark. We have to keep trying to find another key forward and not just sit on our laurels hoping this guy comes good. A lot of the best KPF come from late in the draft, take a punt !
  9. 6 once it's pushed out won't be high enough for Robey, Tigers will take him with 3 or 4
  10. Humphrey doesn’t want to be a forward, he’s an inside mid. If Petracca goes to Gold Coast his minutes will be cut down in there further again. We’re blowing ours up, there’s a spot there if he wants it with an exciting young group around him. I also think we could offer crazy good money, and more than those other two clubs.
  11. Wow, Judd must have seriously wanted out, can’t believe it
  12. Can’t believe he kept a straight face when he said our young key forwards are super exciting
  13. Throw Trac’s wage and more at Humphrey, he’s the one
  14. Pick 10 2017 and a future first 2018 for Lever. Are you insinuating the 2018 draft was weak? The first round was brilliant
  15. Probably because they’re all C graders
  16. Says a bit about the kid
  17. Drafting an 18 year old key forward is ‘desperate’? If anything, it’s the opposite you moron 😂 They’re granted more time than anyone. Screams of patience by the club.
  18. Recruiting Mihocek is not the problem. Offering him three years is.
  19. Three years for Mihocek is desperate and embarassing.
  20. Don't then. You've made your point a hundred times, we've heard it.
  21. You’d call Tim Lamb an expert ? He’s closer to useless
  22. Judd Mcvee (rookie pick) Luker Kentfield may have something to say about that too next year (rookie pick)
  23. 19 of the last 20 premierships have been won by first time coaches
