Worth trying to get Kidean Coleman out of Brisbane? Someone on here mentioned he now has family members in Melbourne. Can’t catch a break with his body but when he’s up and running he’s a great player, suits the modern game and has assets we lack. Maybe a fresh start would do him good, seems Brisbane have players overtaking his role too. We’re not bringing in any A graders any time soon so time to think outside the box

CASEY: Rd 21 vs Box Hill Hawks
How was Tholstrup’s game? Numbers look good. Why didn’t we just give him a block of Casey games like this when he came back from Injury?

The List Manager
Tim Lamb has done an awful job at this club, has to go

POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Hawthorn
But Paul Roos said we can win it next year !

GAMEDAY: Rd 23 vs Hawthorn
New coach’s biggest mission is to win over Kozzy otherwise we’ll have problems, not convinced he’d even be here still if it weren’t for Goodwin

TRAINING: Tuesday 12th August 2025

It was strange to hear Jon ralph say on the mid week tackle last week that Judd doesn't want to leave Victoria. Surely he wouldn't look to move to another club in VIC? Hopefully he is optimistic a role change will happen with a new coach, if that truely is the reason he hasn't committed

I think this year, in a weak draft, there'll be a club willing to give a late first for him, Dogs are desperate for defenders (missing piece), North would be an option, plenty out there i think

I'd be shocked if the new coach was willing to let Fritsch go given he's contracted, only 28, our forward line is so poor you can't get rid of one of our best goal scorers, Lever on the other hand is becoming impervious to needs

If the club is smart they’ll push it from their end then, get a late first rounder for him while we still can

Brad Green and the current board
Also stated that Keith Thomas was recommended by Steven Smith and he was overruled 🤦♂️

That is awful.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
The ‘premiership players’ he speaks of aren’t those players anymore though. A shell of, actually

The most likely tall forward and tall defender combo
Don't think I'd like to see Turner and Lever in the same side next year, too similar, both interceptors, both not as strong 1 on 1. Petty May and Turner is a better mix, Howes can even play a role if the oppo isnt too tall. It's why I think we need to get aggressive and get a late 1st rounder out of Lever this year, before his value plummets even more in 12 months time. A side like North Melbourne or even the Dogs will be willing in this year's draft

Two ankle surgeries and now a hammy before he turns 21, hope he can keep that burst !

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
David King implied on First Crack tonight that the board may not have been across the evolution of our side this year when they decided to sack Goodwin, interesting comments, gone from bottom 4 in ball movement and points from back half to top 4, the implication was the Simon may have been a little stiff

POSTGAME: Rd 22 vs Western Bulldogs
Petty’s a very good player, could be a brilliant key defender if left there
