POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs Fremantle
Do you? You take best available at pick 7. Not needs. Could’ve addressed what you stated at pick 12, similar to what we did last year. Taylor best available, Latrelle a need

POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs Fremantle
It’s not really a knock on Windsor, he’ll be a good player, but we reached on draft night by 3-4 positions. No one is taking him over Curtin Caddy or O’Sullivan

POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs Fremantle
Connor O’Sullivan would be perfect for us right now as well. Think is and GWS were the only teams to rate Windsor where we ended up picking him. My gut tells me he’ll only ever be a nice winger. Yep it’s frustrating, but credit to Freo, they’ve built an incredible list. Treacy another gem from the rookie draft

Is one practice game and one VFL game enough for AMW to come in? Him and Bowey in the side can’t come quick enough!

POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs Fremantle
Post 2020 Jason Taylor’s been pretty average. The guys we’ve picked with first rounders are no where near as good as they need to be to turn the club around, like Petracca Oliver and Brayshaw did. The strategy to trade all our second and third rounders to get another first is looking very ordinary, the cupboard’s pretty bare at Casey. With JT’s reputation, why can’t we pick guys like Joel Freijah and Logan Morris in the second and third rounds? Nail those picks AND your first rounders and that’s how you build a solid list

Well said re Windsor, won’t be an A grade midfielder

GAMEDAY: Rd 02 vs Fremantle
Of course it will, but try being a Richmond fan and having FOUR chances to pick him and still not doing it. There’s about 4-5 other clubs that overlooked him not just us

Said it during the week, he only did it on Caminiti …

Jay Clark reporting Humphrey likely to be suspended for a week for a sling tackle today so we could play the Suns without Trac Rowell and Humphrey

CASEY: Rd 01 vs Footscray VFL
Noticed this too - was disappointing. Just because you’re a high draft pick doesn’t mean you’re a walk up start to the 1’s young fella - time to earn it

Did he ever do a hammy at the Dees? Same with Heeney at Swans, apparently the club was shocked. There is commentary around that these new rules may cause carnage, fingers crossed it won’t effect us.

You only just realised Melksham was still on the list?

NON-MFC: Round 02
I love Watson think he’s a star, just think our offer ended up being too much. Happy with Latrelle and Kozzy now anyway

NON-MFC: Round 02
The offer was our pick that we used for Windsor + a future first that ended up being Langford, no thanks !

Welcome to Demonland: Jacob Van Rooyen
I’ll start getting really excited if he plays well against Freo and continues to have a good month, because although he had a great game, we have have to be honest, Caminitti is a terrible footballer

No he doesn’t? He looks thinner. He’s lost 4kg and it’s clearly helped- PREGAME: Rd 02 vs Fremantle

Was strange wasn’t it. Sometimes you have those days on the wing. He is very slow, didn’t really bother him last year but it’s still something I’ve got an eye on- Koltyn Tholstrup Re-Signs until 2028
I reckon we would’ve won by 10 goals on Sunday if we had’ve kept Oskar Baker. A great call by you 👏- Koltyn Tholstrup Re-Signs until 2028
You’d be pretty crazy to right off a kid of his type selected in the first round by Jason Taylor, not the kind of player he usually gets wrong. Yes there wasn’t a whole lot of talent to choose from at that selection in 2023 but we’re starting to see signs that Kolt has some tricks up his sleeve. Doesn’t need to dominate, and will be a slow burn, but on the weekend we saw he can have good hands in tight, footy IQ when to run and when not to run off NAS, numerous inside 50’s and gets in the right spots to have shots on goal. Pretty tough too.- POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
They were quite integral centre bounces Kingy was throwing him in as well, one was in the last few minutes. JT rated his inside game in a behind the scenes draft video too- POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
That’s where he’ll play his best footy eventually I reckon - Welcome to Demonland: Jacob Van Rooyen
