  1. We do have one advantage to some other Melbourne clubs
  2. Max Knobel of Fremantle Dockers Date of Birth: 27/06/2004 (20 years old) Height: 206 cm (6' 9") Position: Ruck Taken in the 2022 draft from Gippsland Power. Out of contract this year. According to #foreverfreo, he’s too good for ressies footy. Yesterday's stats: 48 hitouts 23 disposals 5 marks 2 tackles 1 goal Any WA Dees fans know much?
  3. If we get Lobb I’m done
  4. If Bailey smith chooses the Cats you’d think the dogs would be all over this
  5. Sestan and Kolt are incredibly similar players so I doubt they both come in, yes Kolt plays more midfield but that’s in the VFL he’s not going to play like that in the 1’s, they’re both medium forwards
  6. He’s bigger than 194cm read he was 196 somewhere
  7. 10 years of mediocrity not enough of a sample size? What did we expect? Is it because he was a pick 4 ten years ago ? Players like this don’t change just because they’re in different colours. We brought him in to help with the inside 50 connection and he can’t kick, did Tim Lamb watch any of his footy the past couple of years? 🤦‍♂️
  8. “A three goal midfield masterclass”
  9. Go hard at the draft, first round will be deep and has a lot of good inside midfielders. Unfortunately we don’t have our own second rounder because the genius Tim lamb offloaded it for Mcadam, we’ll get a future second for Grundy off the Swans and it’ll be as far back as it gets 😂 Great business as per usual.
  10. Not sure if it’s been covered already but May clearly looks hampered by his rib injury still, saw him grimace twice with contact yesterday, he was also battling a groin issue at the start of the year which I’m sure would still be lingering
  11. 4 ruck contests yesterday, one centre bounce, compared to his last game where he had 14 ruck contests and 6 centre bounces
  12. No coincidence that JVR played his best game of the year WITHOUT being in the ruck. He is good at it, but he looked so much better just settled in the one position and not burning tickets playing through there. Surely we want him focusing on being the best forward he can through the week at training and not having to worry about ruck craft too?
  13. And why the WA clubs tried to trade up and get him
  14. What about turning Sparrow into a tagger / defensive mid? Does nothing else and has probably hit his ceiling already
  15. How could you trust the club to bring him in at the right time anyway? Tholstrup was clearly not ready, lost count the amount of times they’ve brought players straight back into the 1’s after a long injury for zero impact, Spargo’s selection was baffling in Round 0, and they’re playing Petty and Mcadam who are clearly unfit and needed more time at Casey. Selection’s all over the shop
  16. There’s a heap of those
  17. Surely JT would have a fair say on that one?
  18. Blake Howes has really little impact doesn’t he. Cheap uncontested possessions off half back, takes kick outs, poor disposal, could be a decent role player one day but that’s probably it. Played his best footy on a wing in his first year tbh

You also said Jack Billing’s was playing well, Josh schace was having a terrific summer, and that Ben brown would be our main forward target this year 😂
  20. Can anyone tell me why Laurie was given a 2 year deal?
  21. Second rounder 😂
  22. Spending a Second rounder on Shane Mcadam Knocking back two first rounders for Petty on the last day of trade Trading Grundy for a future second that will be in the 40’s Losing our backup ruckman and three inside mids and not replacing them Jack Billings acquired Fullarton acquired , pretending he’s a ruckman when he’s actually just another below average forward who doesn’t like contact extending Josh Schace bailing out of the Liam Henry trade All in a years work for Tim Lamb

If we trade him this year we won’t get anything near what we were offered on the last day of trade period last year, two first rounders, might as well keep him and turn him into a full back like we know he can be
  24. Two first rounders for Petty offered on the last day of trade period, takers anyone?
