  1. We will see if C5PO follows his protocols….
  2. Bet the ball isn’t smart enough to tell whether it has been held or dropped…
  3. Not putting a brick through anything but the post. I don’t want to hear his grievances.
  4. If we each get an unwanted complain-a-gram in the post from Lawrence (he has all our membership details!) and he has put a return address on them then we should each tape it to a brick and return it to sender.
  5. Yes pretty awesome. For balance and some pressure I’d play Jurrah and Davey with Robbo interchange and Neita at CHB. A. Jakovich G. Lyon J. Farmer D. Schwartz L. Jurrah A. Davey If we could pick current players I’d have Davey on the bench and Pickett in.
  6. Poop and scoop. They each belong in their own little plastic bag and in the bin. šŸ’©šŸš®
  7. Throw Christian to the lions
  8. We’ll be leaning into learnings…
  9. Seems like you’ve read bits of it. If accidental/careless/reckless act doesn’t result in concussion then what?
  10. Don’t think he was that great around the ground. Gee we miss LJ…
  11. Grew up in a pub. Always had a go. Never let a good story be spoiled by facts. A true entertainer.
  12. It’s Gross to split up the Whitlock twins
  13. This is lathering it on a bit thick
  14. Essendon are a bunch of ruck-knuckles.
  15. Yes we agree here. Unsurprisingly positive goal difference is also highly correlated with winning… Maybe high metres gained correlates with using the boundary more (our older style) since longer metres gained due going wide against oppo going straight? I’m just not sure as a team stat what insight we gain from it.
  16. I would have thought difference in metres gained can only be due to 3 things: Team goal difference - reset to centre 4 x random events - where the ball was at the end of the quarter relative to the centre. Noise - measurement error, bias, not measuring straight up and down the ground, etc Metres gained generally need to be lost by the other side? Basically should correlate with goal difference and not add much?
  17. Yes he was diagnosed with concussion and will miss 12 days/2 games as mandatory precaution. Don’t think he lost consciousness though.
  18. Didn’t knock him out, surprisingly broke his nose but appeared unintentional contact. Probably should have got the same as Heeney - both off or both one week.
  19. Karma. Wasn’t Heeney smiling on TV when he marked over Trac, cracking the first rib and tickling his spleen…
  20. What if their ruck isn’t ticklish?
  21. Worse, the round 0 winner was out of 4 games…. But, doesn’t really compromise the award though. Yes you need to be nominated to win, but an early/sneaky nomination won't win you the whole thing.
  22. Not defending this, but explaining: Rising star nominations mid/later in the season are effectively on a ā€˜body of work’ rather than a single game. Darcy likely came very close to a nomination in earlier rounds and missed, and has now ā€˜accumulated’ one. Kolt can still get one, 2-3 more decent games may do it.
  23. Darcy Jones from GWS got it this round. But Kolt still has time to snare one.
  24. AMW -> BMW -> Beema ? goes alright šŸ‘
  25. Was a fair way away I thought was high but light and unintentional contact, McGovern was the ā€˜milkman’ here.
