I was so adamant in 2022, we should've pursued him when he was still negotiating with Carlton. This was even more evident if the club knew Jackson was leaving.

Loyalty should be paramount. The club showed that when they committed to 7 years and 1 million. If loyalty is no longer there, by all means he can leave. I'd much prefer transparency, I think that's the least we should get from him. My only hope is that he doesn't end up playing for the filth. That would bring him down, to me at least, to almost the level of a T$.

One thing is still baffling to me. That of all people Petracca is the one that created this whole chaos. As much as I was one harsh critic of his footy, I always felt that he was at the level of Max, JV in terms of commitment and leadership inside the club. If this all happened because of that KB game and the aftermath, that doesn't sit well with me. Why does he feel the need to punish the club (and supporters as a byproduct)?

Alternatively, there was a player from the NRL that made the move to the AFL. Could we see Petracca playing at the Melbourne Storm? 😅

But what's the order? The one I don't want to see win it at all is Geelong followed closely by Carlton and Brisbane (good thing they play each other).

Even if Trac leaves, for the sake of argument, to Carlton. Could we get McKay and their first rounder this year? If we go next year with McKay plus pick 5 and pick 9, it would be a great starting position. That should see Petty going back to his natural position next to May and Lever.

If this ever eventuates. Take McKay and their first round picks this year. McKay plus pick 5 and pick 9?, not too shabby.
