Very hard to assess today: May 6 Viney 5 Langdon 4 Brayshaw 3 ANB 2 Gawny 1
-
Our FWD 50 game still a real concern, that's the most worrying thing. I hoped our forward línea would take today's opportunity to tweak their game and gain confidence
-
Spot on mate, we were supposed to send a clear message today to the rest of the comp that no one is near us but instead we look poor against poop competition (WCE is really poop)
-
Play like this in Finals and we are cooked
-
Way too many of those days so far for my liking. Really need to sort this up and demand Fritsch to stop being MIA for 80% of the matches.
-
Disgraceful but expected form those Muppets. You should respect that a player belongs to a team and they play for that team, not to f-ing show off for the soon to be wooden Spooners
-
I hope this year we take the opportunity and deliver the win for Neale. He deserves it.
-
Clayton is definitely a very special player, however he doesn't seem one of the most vocal from the group. He can definitely lead with his relentless commitment to the contest and footy proes.
-
I forgot to add Port did beat several top 8 teams, however only one top 4 (Bulldogs). I think you may have thought of the Bombers who I believe didn't beat any top 8 team and still made Finals.
-
But what about the strength of their fixture that season? It may well be that they weren't capable of winning those high profile games during the H&A, but that doesn't mean they didn't earn the home prelim. I guess my point was more about Geelong could potentially reach top 4 spot because of the weakness of their fixture, not because they deserve it i.e. winning against Melbourne, Brisbane or Freo.
-
We haven't beaten anyone above us since Round 1 last year! 😂 It's not our fault that we stay top of the ladder. Surely there are some obscure things behind these BS fixtures,or the AFL is just inept.
-
I get that and I am all for it as it should be. However I still think it is unfair and nonsensical to give two games against last year's wooden Spooner to any team finishing top 4, I would go as far as to say that none of the top 8 should get that "benefit".
-
That's understandable but surely the AFL can see how a team is trending. After 2018 the Weagles have spireled down the ladder. But again I do agree that West Coast finished 9th so a borderline finals team based on that performance.
-
Just heard on the radio that the Cats are playing both North and West Coast twice! 4 easy wins there for the geriatric cats. Do we know if there is any other team from last year's top 4 with such and advantage? I understand West Coast was competitive last year, but why do you give 2 games against the wooden spoon to any of the top 4?
-
I think our fwd line still needs some tweaking (i.e. can be improved) Surely they benefit of the next two games to gain more confidence and build up momentum.
-
We are definitely blessed with many leaders down and up the field. Gawny, Trac, May, Lever, Viney, Angus. Each with their unique style of leadership.
-
Do they even have any threats up forward? I am sure we have all of their small and tall forwards covered with our elite back 6.
-
May was very eloquent and straightforward in all his responses. Great to see the strong connection and love for the club from our players.
-
I wonder what maybe our membership split. I believe all reserved seat memberships are sold out. I have the feeling that majority of our members are more than just 3 game members.
-
Talk about delusional and entitled people, Good grief! The baggers haven't done shaite for the last 20 years!
-
Some geniuses there in the AFL HQ, can't believe they are so inept to put a decent fixture together.
-
What were the numbers for Richmond before their golden years of 2017-2020? I wouldn't think their membership numbers were higher than 60k?
-
Aren't there some medications that can be injected for muscle pains?
-
Which game is going to be our first home game with 60k plus? I believe the highest attendance of our home games so far was the Opening round? Could it be the Swans one? Otherwise it looks like we may have to wait until the latter part of the season (Collingwood or Carlton).

Watch it go down to 2.10 by the season end
