  1. Agree. Every game is a danger game.

Seemed to me where I sat that you guys had on both sides of the DA lots and lots of Richmond supporters. Are they seats allocated to them or am I reading into this far too deeply? Just seemed so wrong.

Interesting to note that both Viney and Chandler (as well as Goodwin) all mentioned how they appreciated having a big Melbourne crowd. It does make a difference. I know I keep repeating, the best thing we can do as fans for the team is to turn up and make some real noise.
  4. Pencil in to break this record in the upcoming Kings Birthday clash
  5. Can someone who had tech smarts send Kozzie a video of Melbourne players being introduced at the start of the game. Max (deservedly) got the biggest cheer, Kozzie was a close second
  6. And letโ€™s not forget. Richmond are one win in six games. Oh, that felt so good to say so Iโ€™ll say it again- Richmond are just one win from six games. Let me repeatโ€ฆโ€ฆ
  7. I know we won and it was more gritty than pretty football but what the eff, how shocking were the umpires !! They were a disgrace. My mate who barracks for Richmond did not disagree. Using his words โ€˜we had a few dubious ones go our wayโ€™. Anyhow, got the four points, one week at a time etc, etc.
  8. This is the game back in 2021 that I became a true believer when I realised that we were a serious premiership contender. I hope that this game I can again capture my faith again and believe. Sounds bit like a religion doesnโ€™t itโ€ฆ.
  9. I am totally with you. Having said that it annoys me that I even have to think like that. I could almost get how and why we lost to Brisbane. I canโ€™t get over the loss to Essendon. I really hope that the โ€˜premiership contenderโ€™ Melbourne turns up tonight. I want other teams in coming weeks dreading having to play against us rather than seeing us as an opportunity to win. GO DEES!!!!!
  10. I hear you but a practice game is just a practice game. They looked pretty good today.
  11. And not to forget, this is their 57th year since they won their last premiership
  12. 16 frees to 6 in favour of Carlton. Hmmm
  13. Please, please, please, play football like you are the hunters. Take the game on, play fast attacking football. In other words, smash โ€˜em.
  14. Does look like the umpires do like Carlscum
  15. Iโ€™m glad it wasnโ€™t โ€˜servedโ€™ up to him. Much prefer having Grundy on board with us.
  16. Just listened to the interview. It was very good and very informative. Well done! Thatโ€™s all.

I am oh so hoping that we outnumber the opposition supporters. It is our home game after all! Soโ€ฆ not caring if you are a member or not (or even just a Richmond hater) please turn up (those of us that can) and support our boys. It is the most tangible way we can help our team on game day. It is the least that they deserve.

Curiosity question. My understanding is that a member who has a reserved seat is given opportunity to buy guest passes and if they do they are reallocated to another section with designated seats. What happens to the seat that the member normally would be seating in? My guess is that it remains empty for the game.
  19. It just really goes to show that one cannot take any team for granted this season. If the team is not switched on, there is a fair chance it will lose. I still have confidence that when we are switched on, we are a very competitive unit, a contender. I just hope that positive, confident supporters rock up to the G for the Anzac Eve clash. It is our home game, we must outnumber the opposition fans, no excuses. We owe it to our team.
  20. Unfortunately, I agree with you, in fact it gave me less hope โ€ฆ.. but I oh so hope that I am wrongโ€ฆโ€ฆagainโ€ฆโ€ฆ just like I was when I tipped us to beat Brisbane and Essendon.
  21. Another [censored] weekend coming up. Bummer!
  22. Not that it means anything to anyone, Rivers from the day he started was my favourite โ€˜non starโ€™ player. Iโ€™m wrapped. GO DEES!!!
  23. West coast game - One word- PERCENTAGE
  24. Heard Moore saying after the game that they really missed not having a ruckman. Likewise, we missed having Gawney. But then again we had a fella called Grundy fill in and take on the job. I wonder if the Ferals have ever heard about him?
  25. In simple terms, my take on all this is that there must be some correlation between number of members and club revenue. Therefore more the merrier - not really fussed how it is counted. But my real interest is to see more of our fans (members or not) actually attend our games. Adds to the atmosphere for starters and I can only think that it helps our players. There is no doubt in my mind that in our last game against Collingwood, their supporters got them over the line. Soโ€ฆ.. gear up your family and friends for the Anzac clash. And the Kingโ€™ birthday clash will upon us sooner than you think. (If you are struggling to find demon friends then just get Collingwood haters to come along- plenty of those people around). Turning up to games (for those of us that can) and making some noise is about the most tangible way we can actually help our players on game day. GO DEES
