  1. True but it would have to be with any compensation they get from the Swans because Gold Coast aren’t interested in trading for him anymore
  2. Pies have essentially no assets to give up as there’s no way Suns would accept their future picks given compromised drafts and Pies’ finals chances Blues do have currency but they need picks for their F/S - Dean this year and Walker the next - so I can’t imagine them wanting to front up too much We’re clearly the best placed with the Petracca trade and current and future picks available, as well as any more picks to come on from Clarry and McVee If he nominates us I reckon we get this done pretty easily Earn you paycheck Lamb!
  3. Bailey can I interest you in a house and land package out in Cranbourne?
  4. Anyway I hope King is preparing on our of best slide shows yet Need to get some quality back in with Trac and Clarry out the door
  5. I’m guessing Trac’s not cooking him any spag bowl then?
  6. Pleeeeeeeeeeeease 🐻
  7. Surely Giants would part with pick 12 if we’re paying a significant amount of salary? Weak draft and they could be getting the last piece of a premiership puzzle on the cheap
  8. It does seem like that doesn’t it? Reckon we’re paying the price for the club’s delusion that we’d be a contender in 2025 Still, I’d rather a club that’s willing to make the tough calls than not make any calls at all
  9. Wow I guess I retract my previous post suggesting people need to relax 🤣 Would hope that if we were paying up to $700,000 of his wage we’d be asking for a high pick in return Genuinely surprised we seem to be open to moving on both Trac and Clarry in one off season I’m not against it at it’s clear we’re not a contender in our current form, but geez you’d hope we’d have a plan to bring in some best 23 players in the next year or two or we’re going to be in for a lot of pain
  10. Think people really need to relax about this one The only fact we know is that King is meeting Oliver, and that sounds like a totally standard process to me As is King outlining his expectation and what role he sees Oliver playing next year I reckon Edmund has added a bit of mayo regarding the uncertainty about his playing future And regardless, we need to be honest that as much as Oliver looked to improve somewhat at the end of this year, he is still significantly down on his pre 2023 form and may never return to it He didn’t poll a single Brownlow vote this year and (correct me if I’m wrong) don’t think he polled a Coach’s vote either I’d be disappointed if King wanted to continue business as usual Now that doesn’t mean trading Clarry - and the club themselves haven’t confirmed they want to do this - but it does mean making clear to him that depending on his form he might not be a walk up CBA midfielder anymore He and his manager would then be free to make any decisions they feel are best for him All sounds pretty fair to me
  11. Yuck How hard is it to tell a bloke he’ll be playing midfield
  12. The key forward we needed was on our list all along
  13. Great interview from King I love his confidence but even more I love his transparency
  14. Pick 6 or 7 not enough on its own, would need at least another late first rounder I’d think
  15. I suddenly believe everything Sam Faff says
  16. I’ve got a soft spot for Rachelle and think he’s exactly the type of player we need to bring in, so would do him + a first round pick in a heart beat Hopefully we’re testing the waters with his manager to see if he’d want to come home, as this might be his best chance given he’s contracted to 2029 I think
  17. The key forward Adelaide will give up:
  18. My take is that while he’s not a game breaking kick like a Houston or Zorko type, he generally has high disposal efficiency and is good at accumulating and hitting those 30m targets that we so often struggle with
  19. Please be true I am CRASHING OUT about this off season already
  20. Have to agree here and I really hope we’re not setting King up to fail Without some shrewd additions we’re essentially rolling out the same squad that’s had two back to back bottom six finishes We might get a bounce from his coaching and natural improvement from our young players, but our senior core is also another year older and some (Trac and May) might not even be there at all Let’s hope Lamb pulls a rabbit out of a hat, but his recent history doesn’t fill me with any confidence
  21. Yikes Does Lamb know there’s a trade period coming up?
  22. Tell his manager that if he wants to go home we’re only dealing with West Coast If it’s about returning to WA he shouldn’t mind which team he’s playing for right? 🙄 Honestly pretty annoyed that we plucked him out of obscurity as a late rookie pick, developed him into a solid half back and from reports gave him a positive indication of his future playing position, and he still leaves? See ya Judd - hope you’re prepared to play WAFL next year if you dish up your 2025 form
  23. When you wake up I’d love to hear some of that gossip about King 👀
