  1. About as many times as he has got them right.
  2. Sack everyone. Microwave your membership. Melt the cup for scrap. West Coast have scored the first goal.
  3. The Kayo stream is live now. Clarry's immortal finger to the sky was the first frame I saw when I flipped to it. I consider that our first win of the day.
  4. I reckon the guy who programs the guide is out with knee soreness. Has he ever been seen in the same room as Josh Kennedy?
  5. I think Andy/Demonland views the world as being balanced on the eye of a needle perched in the bowl of a giant Premiership cup, with the all-seeing eye of Norm Smith doling out judgment on all things football (and perhaps beyond). So, in short, it all comes back to what Norm thinks. Him being the Higher Power and all that.
  6. lol just flipped over to the Blues game and see scores are level. I thought I saw them up 20-0. When are they going to sort out their fast-start-then-stop-for-the-rest-of-the-game approach?
  7. Best win in GCS history IMO.
  8. The thing about this Suns rebuild that they've finally gotten right is the people they've brought from other clubs. Players like Chole and Casboult aren't superstars but they're honest players who set standards and have A-grade qualities in certain areas. Players like Gary Ablett were never what this side needed.
  9. Even last year when Melbourne dropped some games against lower sides, we were in the game right till the end. The fact that Freo haven't been competitive since halfway through the 2nd would be worrying for them. Based on this showing, Fremantle isn't where we were last year, let alone where we are this year.
  10. David King is such a frustrating commentator/analyst. He takes a bob each way every single time. How can you suggest putting David Mundy into the forward line while at the same time saying "there's heaps of time left, just hold your heads"?
  11. Freo facing their first real threat in the Suns up there. The Melbourne boys were all pretty bullish on Gold Coast after playing them. I trust their football judgment, and Fremantle play a lot like Melbourne. Even though the Suns have had some bad losses this year I reckon the fact the Suns play honest football these days means other teams can cut them up but teams that play properly like Melbourne and Fremantle will struggle a little more to get over the top of them.
  12. Great to hear it's all settled. Can't wait for finals next week!
  13. Gotta give Tom Hawkins credit - he's trying absolutely everything to get the Cats this win. Too bad for him he'll fail (mwahahahaha!!!)
  14. This is terrible I know, but every time Tom Hawkins is in a marking contest, I silently hope for an injury.
  15. Kicked 7 goals that quarter. In the corresponding quarter last week agains Melbourne, they also tried to make their move and wound up scoring 2 goals to 1. Pretty solid effort from the boys in that context.
  16. The saints can flick a switch at Marvel that's for sure.
  17. Don't anyone underrate the dogs this year. Their 2nd quarter against us is still the best footy we've faced this year, and they're dangerous af. They're not out of the race until they're dead and gone.
  18. Finally Bedford gets dropped. Sick of this guy getting 0 touches a game week after week without consequences.
  19. The troubling thing about veils is they store quite well. You just pack them away and then hand them out to your children or grandchildren when needed! On a totally unrelated note, when positive matter meets negative matter, both annihilate one another.
  20. Trade for Daniel Rich and let Caro commentate every game...
  21. If I were a dockers fan, there's no way I'd miss this - a chance to see the benchmark in the flesh and a chance to see my most hated arch-rivals get torn limb from limb.
  22. Did playing Melbourne over the last 10 years prior to 2018 hurt Hawthorn or Geelong? No, they won billions of flags.
  23. Everything I hear is that Lever by his own admission didn't come back fit enough post 2021, and (this is my own thought) he is paying the price a bit this year in terms of injuries and lack of continuity. He is a very smart player and doesn't need to rack up the kilometres so has been a valuable contributor in games he has played despite the above. Even so, I reckon he would benefit by using the next couple of weeks to get his body right and get a bit of fitness back. If he doesn't he'd probably still get through the year ok and be a very handy player for us - just not the absolute best Jake Lever he can be.
  24. As much as it looked like we’d smash them it’s turned into what looks like it will be another regulation 20-39 win with the 2nd and 3rd quarters swapped around.
