  1. It's a reference to Lay Szout, one of the unknown Swedish exponents of the drop punt in the Scandinavian game futebahren.
  2. The Scott brothers sniffing weakness in the Scott brothers.
  3. Good to see Jesse Hogan up and about. Wish him every success and 0 possessions vs Steven May in a 100 point loss on grand final day.
  4. Brodie Grundy one out vs 2 ruckman who both had a field day on him.
  5. Watching this performance from Essendon is cheering me up a bit after seeing Carlton sneak another win.
  6. Giants, Lions, Pies, Dees, Blues... Everyone is trying to pick the flag winner 5 weeks out. No one has a clue who will win it, and anyone who thinks they do is underestimating the evenness of the competition.
  7. Just a dumb post.
  8. Carlton very easily could have lost the last two matches.
  9. So it's not just Curnow: Carlton players really love a two arms in the air, how good am I celebration. I have no living memories of Carlton being good, but they've always been arrogant. We are moving into dark times my friends.
  10. Charlie Curnow really loves himself doesn't he?
  11. Suns showing a bit of ticker again. Hopefully they can actually take this one out.
  12. Spare a thought for the Suns supporter who has to hear it a couple of times every week.
  13. This should be viewed as the Suns being dreadful rather than Carlton continuing on their winning ways, but the narrative won't reflect that. Not that it matters for the Suns as they're just spinning their wheels until Hardwick gets there, as they have been for 10 years.
  14. Meanwhile it's business as usual at the Wind Tunnel (Casey) in our women's practice match vs Hawthorn. Dees are currently 6 goals 15 behinds vs Hawthorn just 6 behinds midway through the last quarter.
  15. Is this what you mean? I assume you're referring to Melbourne's late season form that year. The Blues will likely have to do it for one more game than Melbourne did. But yes, they're a very dangerous side and you'd be crazy to put them outside your top 3 form teams right now. They'd have to remain "up" for another 6 weeks though, after already being up for over 2 months.
  16. The Suns body language is atrocious. They'll lose this by 60 points the way they're going.
  17. What wouldn't I give to have Curnow in our side.
  18. A young team travelling after being up for two months is different than us on our home ground with two running changes. Plus we're fitter.
  19. Exactly.
  20. The Lions deserve top spot. Haven't had a drop off all year, and lost 3 very close ones scattered throughout the year probably due more to their own mistakes rather than opponents being the better side. Not to say I think they're better than a fully fit Melbourne in September on the G though.
  21. Insanity. We need to pump Hawthorn and Sydney by 60 points and go into September flying.
  22. Hopefully we get to see how Brisbane holds up in the last quarter with a slim lead and Collingwood coming at them like a freight train. Very wobbly in that situation.
  23. A lot of excuse-making for our opponents here. No game is going to go 100% to plan. The wins are what they are, and you can rate them or look at reasons why they wouldn't have happened. Carlton fans might easily do the same had a certain goal line decision gone the other way last night.
  24. Weird idea. What if we push Brayshaw forward? He's a good overhead mark for his size and it would free up space in the midfield for Clarry and Petracca plus the 4-5 others that can do the job. We go smaller and make oppositions play unusual matchups and be one midfielder down against us?
  25. What a leap from Quay. Too bad he didn't mark it. Phwoa!
