Good news week (positive news only)
I rewatched the game last night and TMac's performance was absolutely sublime. He's far ahead of Tomlinson imo.

Kayo is 4K in 2024
I've seen a couple of the 4K games as well on Kayo and it's only marginally better. I have very good eyes and am a stickler for this kind of thing. 1080p Kayo vs 4K Kayo is not worth an upgrade.

NON-MFC: Round 01
Brisbane getting smashed. You love to see it from the 2024 premiers.

He's still best 22 but the problem for him and us is that he can only play one role that we know of, and he is soft as butter. The wing role in our gameplan needs to make contests, and you can pretty much pen him down for losing 75% of his contests. I still have nightmares of his game against Sidebottom in the finals last year. I say this as someone who thought he was our most important player in 2021.

NON-MFC: Round 01
Come on it's Collingwood surely. Even if it wasn't Collingwood before last year it has to be them now.

Probably slipped on the Toyota logo.

NON-MFC: Round 01
Not to make the non-MFC thread about us, but the speed teams are playing at this season is worrying. I don't think we've got the capacity to adapt to this with our list and gameplan. Might be a long one this year.

GAMEDAY: Opening Round vs Sydney
Disagree. Players are having cracks at goal and missing when they should be handing it off to players in better positions. That's nerves. They all want to be the man to fix our forward line issues, when the way to do it is to hit someone in a good spot with low pressure on them so they can kick it. It's not a hard concept to grasp but in the heat of the moment we all seem to go to pot and spray it.

Thank god for our full forward and centre-half-forward Eddie Langdon and Jack Viney for kicking the goals for us tonight. Honestly lads that was atrocious. Surely this isn't the gameplan? Either the players are absolute morons or the coaching staff are. I don't care which but we need to figure it out pronto.

GAMEDAY: Opening Round vs Sydney
Where are the deft knock-ons and measured kicks into the 50 we saw plenty of vs Carlton when there was nothing on the line? I think the players freak out under pressure and revert to garbage habits. Strange for a premiership winning team but I guess that's where we're at. Ultimately these bad habits are the fault of the coaches though I suppose.
