First you would have to remove a players right to refuse to go. Turn them into walking contracts. We will get there but I don’t know the timeframes for that. There’s a lot to reform in the system but the hate in here and the bitterness is unbecoming. We won the flag a year ago - shift your mindset people - no one is out to get you!- Farewell Sam Weideman
Hmm. Not a fan of just getting rid of our only depth for Grawndy. Ah well, chips are in or will be soon I guess.- Delisting/Out of Contract Targets
Yeah, what do we have, two primary list spots? Maybe Rookie List for a recycled tall but I think they will go young.- Farewell Luke Jackson

That’s passive aggressive. What family issues do you have? Should I speculate?- Farewell Luke Jackson
Yeah, [censored] tell us this PRIVATE FAMILY MATTER! I, as an anonymous poster, deserve to be told of a STRANGER’S FAMILY MATTER as it causing me momentary distress due to the inability of my football club to get commensurate value in a trade!- Trade and Free Agency rumours
They are taking on $1.6m for a player GC is happy to let go. I personally would not want that in our window. Yes, the pick is alluring but what other talent are they missing out on. They are obviously managing their cap well but they have no stars in their prime so of course they can. I hate Geelong but I don’t think there is nefarious play at work here; just tossers winning flags.- Trade and Free Agency rumours

Don’t you dare start a Moneyball conversation- Josh Bruce
My word you provide some excitable nonsense; he played 20 games and kicked 48 goals in 2021 and was staring us in the face before he got injured and made it easier for us to control Naughton.- Adam Tomlinson on the move?
I would agree but saying to Petty - you are now our swing man allows a summer for him to work with the forwards and build some forward craft and learn some basics. That would allow us another option forward knowing he can excel back.- Adam Tomlinson on the move?
Same. Not many, but certainly a couple.- Farewell Luke Jackson
So … wait… you want a compensation that doesn’t compete with what we are being offered because the deal we are being offered is not what we want? Thats like cutting off our nose despite our face and then asking if we can replace the nose with a root vegetable.- Josh Bruce
Why don’t you take your own advice when it comes to Brown? Also he kicked 3 in a flag winning side for your club. Think of what a player can do rather than what they can’t. Saw that on a bathroom wall somewhere…- Farewell Brodie Grundy
We would have to agree to that too. And the AFL. It’s not say straightforward as you imply.- Josh Bruce
I may owe GNF an apology…- Farewell Brodie Grundy
Where has it been said the Pies will front load their contribution?- Delisting/Out of Contract Targets
@Lord Nevget your OneNote out!- Farewell Luke Jackson
From what Lamb has said - we are keen on replacing the elite talent we have lost. Unlike the last few years, where we have brought forward our high end picks and brought forward our rebuild - we may have to delay for a year and get something at the pointy end next year. Petty having a summer and the first few months forward into 2023 might be a really good way to bridge that gap and allow TMac and Brown to ease into possibly their last year of value and also provide support to JVR. With Gawn there this becomes even more of an option. Then we reassess and look again for tall forward talent next summer. Probably through trade for a Jon Snow (King in the North!) or possibly a kid from the draft.- Farewell Brodie Grundy
The points are used to attach value for F/S and Academy players. It is used to liberally in trade deals; we have said we will only have two live selections and other clubs have intimated similar so those ‘points’ on later picks immediately lose all value to some clubs. Oh and in no way do 3 picks from 30 onwards ‘equal’ a top 15 pick. So smack your face or hit your head with your keyboard if you have intimated that…- Aaron Cadman
We just can’t think like this. You don’t want to spend whatever small amount of capital on the wrong player. Gawn with Grundy fundamentally changes our forward line; I don’t know for better or worse but maybe it means medium talls are better for us in the next 3 years? Maybe we can afford to keep players in our forward line and have them lead at the ball? It’s hard to say but TMac and Brown buy us some time to get this decision right. Because I want to be great for a decade or more - not just next year.- What's next for Adem Yze?
- Farewell Luke Jackson
Nearly there. He will go into the Pre-Season Draft where WCE will take him at PSD2. We can play chicken if we want to but are we really going to say no to ND13 and ND14~ just to make a point? I doubt it. - Farewell Luke Jackson
