Thanks ANB - I know you'll appreciate the opportunity to get games into future kids and be happy to rest. Put your feet up and prepare for your new life. You will be missed - but we need to expose kids on the list. AMW especially.

A great team player will be sadly missed. He should not be played last 2 games. Give youngsters a chance and no injuries so ANB retain his value.

I read somewhere (I think) that he was leading the comp in tackles inside forward 50.

Make a pathway for umpires as they do with players and pay them accordingly. A squad of professional umpires determined not to make mistakes and get relegated to VFL. I rarely see games live in Hobart but the ones I see I found myself yelling at umpires about where to position themselves so they could see the play. They are rank amateurs charged with officiating a professional sport.

My daughter's band played as one of several support acts in Hobart - very proud dad.

From memory - I saw him play and coach - his tactic was the reason OOTF was introduced. Sadly I never saw him in his prime - that I can recall

Gawn TMAC Tomkinson Viney May Salem

Parker lined him up from >20m with no intention to get the ball. The outcome of his action deserves 6 weeks

Of course he did - corrupt b*st*rds

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ray_Biffin A reminder for us older Demonlanders about a great Tasmanian MFC player. Great full back but our circumstances required him to go forward. Was a shining light in bleak times.

and the 16 where we scored 4 or more?

Kolt might be worth a go in his home state. Hasn't dominated VFL but doing ok - get more games into him against lesser teams. Maybe even get him to tag Harley Reid as a learning experience.

I'm a big Rivers fan but his disposal efficiency in Q1 was very ordinary.

Let's face it they just aren't very good at the job. No sense of the game and often out of position when making decisions. We need to entice ex-top juniors with dodgy knees who can read a game to take up the dark art.

https://www.afl.com.au/news/1125845/andy-lovell A favourite Tasmanian son.

As mentioned previously, I'm the proud uncle of an AFLW captain who was part of the CBA negotiations. They said there will be no problem attracting mid-career players looking to get further playing opportunities to Tasmania. The attraction of a short drive to training compared to what players in Melbourne have to endure a factor as is the cheaper real estate. Geelong make the most of both these to attract and retain players.

I played against Big Bob - he was 40ish I was 17. Big presence on field when you're still a kid.

The exodus of younger men from Tasmania is in large part due to immigrants having served their time in a regional area. I catch Ubers rather than DIY and various Nepali/Indian/Pakistanis tell me of their travails. Have you ever been to Tassie?
-
Certainly has the credentials - a proud Tassie boy. Jack Reiwoldt has surprised me in his role. Tassie is in good hands.

Now he has experienced running up and down "the Windsor Wing" - and the adoring members - he will likely want to stay.

Harley Reid. If it was MFC in their position it would be investigated.

Carringbush supporters - always get better odds vs that mob.

Can't vote - went to bed at half time in disgust.
